Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

There are a few clever ideas in this game that you can't experience in any other game, but the story lacks the oomph to really drive anything meaningful forward. Also they needed to playtest this game because most of the puzzles are either really obscure, or there is so many thick layers of effects and post-processing that you can't read anything on the screen necessary to progress, if a guide wasn't available I physically could not finish the game because I couldn't read what's in front of me, even though I had solved the solution. That's terrible, what not to do in game design 101.

Really clever, good storytelling and interesting concept! I'd only say chapter 3 (with the microfilm & radio) some of the writing is hard to read accurately and audio is tricky
Se beber não dirija.
A little too familiar and unoriginal when it comes to the story (SH2 fans will definitely see the inspirations behind the JAMES character and this game as a whole, really) It's pretty clear then, why this dev team was chosen by Konami to craft the next SH experience and on that front, I can definitely see why. This game really shines with the different episodes and unique mechanics for each episode that will keep your interest, although the first episode as an introduction might be a little too rigid and wear out an impatient person's willingness to give the game it's full time.
6.5/10
Great story, average gameplay in my opinion. The text-based puzzles are the weakpoint of the game, but all the other puzzles are great. You can use a guide for the text-based puzzles, but I'd highly recommend avoiding it for the rest of the game. Music and audio design and visuals are incredible, best part of the game by far. The story is less of a horror and more psychological horror, playing with tension but without jumpscares. Would recommend, but only on sale as it is quite short (3hrs or less)
Brilliant storytelling. Highly recommend going in blind. (I only needed to look up something twice because I was using the wrong verbiage and I had trouble with a certain part due to being a bit hard of hearing.) Really loved the mechanics of each section. Only sadness was that there aren't another hundred stories to pour over as this style of interactivity really scratches an itch.
Zajímavá příběhová jednohubka :-). K dispozici je v guides i návod, pro lidi, kdo nemají trpělivost hledat rébusy, ale chtěli by zažít tuhle interaktivní jízdu.
I absolutely love it. It reminds me of Maniac Mansion (NES) and Uninvited (NES) all in one game. The retro 80s horror aesthetic is my favorite. Love love love. Love how dark and creative the puzzles are. Love the jump scares. I'm only on Part 3 so far, though.
