The boss fights are the chip that feed you the dip... the music. The game is great, the music for the boss fights are amazing. I recommend getting the game just to experience the soundtrack.

Amazing game from indie devs. since it shows a lot of effort, inspiration and passion! Hoping for a sequel or more updates regarding to optimizations and bugs.

this grow so much more impresive than i expected from early demo. fantastic art, music and atmosphere. combat is pretty good too. not much room (and need) to use switch combo abilitites, but still cool even in basic's execution. literally only complain i have is visual clutter of effects, especially healing and lategame boss attacks

Soundtrack 10 Gameplay 9.5 Art Style 10/10 I have only one complain: some enemies have too low card drop rate, i try to have a card from them for hours but i couldn't, so i only have to do ng+1 for getting the platinum. For who's reading this review and is playing the game, i find out that like half of the content and bosses are behind really hard to find places, so i reccomend to search for some guides (there aren't a lot) for not missing some beautifull areas and bosses. Hope this games get more visibility cause is a masterpiece, maybe the devs could try some free sponsorship by big youtubers.

This is definitely an indie souls-like. I really enjoy the fast paced combat and parrying feels really good, especially since you can parry while swinging your sword. It's a short game but totally worth the price. There's barely any item collecting or character menu. There's only 4 items to collect in game; feathers(souls), cards, vinyl records, feral forages. The only menu just shows the cards and vinyl records you've found. So there's very minimal menu navigation. Once you get the knight(horse), that's when you can really start moving super fast and pull off crazy combos and skills. I kept seeing reviews mentioning the skyboxes and they were totally right. The skyboxes and world design is insane. This game looks like it was made on acid and mushrooms. It's like someone took christian and catholic artistry and imagery, then blended it with an acid trip--- totally awesome! I'm glad someone finally brought to life hundreds of years of strange religious art into a game. The only issue i had with the game was the navigation of the world itself. I went out of bounds a lot. There's a lot of hidden places to find vinyl records or feathers, so you're encouraged to go off the main path. But a lot of the time I kept going out of bounds thinking it was another secret path... and there's a lot of secret paths to take. I guess I kind of had an issue with the cards not being fully translated into English. So I couldn't read the description written on any of the enemy cards, just the name was translated for some reason. Love the game though. I'll give it a 7 out of 10.
