For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Not bad at all, but not as good as the previous entry and has alot more issues. The voice acting is uneven. One character in particular delivers his lines so flatly that it’s jarring though, interestingly, his performance improves later on, which makes me wonder if it was intentional. A handful of minor characters also fall into “mediocre” territory. On the technical side, I managed to get stuck in a stairwell after clicking too quickly while the camera shifted. My character didn’t register in a valid position, which left me soft-locked. More frustrating, though, are the unskippable animations. I appreciate the detail like the protagonist glancing at things you click on but waiting several seconds for her to reset before I could act again wore thin fast. Watching the same “open hatch” animation for the fifth time made me want to yell: “Just leave it open!” The game does provide multiple solutions for some puzzles, which is great, and the inclusion of a CSI kit is a fun touch. Still, clarity issues pop up often. For example, you might deduce that a microscope can be used on clothes in an armoire, then use tweezers to collect a hair sample but not realize the new hotspot is on the folded clothing instead of the hanging ones. Tools can also be mislabeled the rarely used “sniffer” is confusingly listed as “electronic noise.” And luminol use devolves into pixel hunting for invisible hotspots. The inventory system deserves criticism as well. With only 16 slots, it’s clunky and forces tedious backtracking. Dropping items in storage boxes to free up space feels more like padding than gameplay. It’s realistic, perhaps our petite protagonist wouldn’t reasonably carry an archery target, a sledgehammer, lockpicks, cords, and speakers all at once but realism doesn’t necessarily equal fun. I strongly recommend playing with a guide. Like many adventure games, this one has pixel hunt moments and obtuse leaps of logic. A late-game bullet hole, for example, feels nearly impossible to spot without help. Timed danger sequences also become frustrating when you don’t yet know the layout, and one near the end even blocks you from reloading to undo failure unless you restart from the main menu. That borders on punishing design. There’s also an odd puzzle where one character gathers clues, then another character must solve with knowledge she never actually heard or read some of which isn’t even revealed until after. So why do I still rate this highly? Because the writing is fairly strong (melodramatic villains aside), the puzzles are mostly fair, and the multiple solutions kept me engaged even as the challenge ramped up. The story’s twists felt earned, answering questions the clues had seeded earlier rather than pulling cheap surprises. And while the protagonists aren’t written to be instantly likeable, they are competent, respectable, and consistently interesting. Overall, the game’s flaws are forgivable compared to its strengths. With a guide to smooth out the rough edges, it’s a solid and rewarding adventure.

Эдакая "пила" на минималках, приправленная Heavy Rain или The Devil in me для нищих.
I chose to ignore the poor reviews given how much I loved the first game. This game had so much potential if it hadn't been riddled with glitches. The game doesn't stop you from progressing to certain events without having completed necessary ones. It is so easy to get stuck, miss things, or complete them in the wrong order which leads to spoilers. I ended up needing to download a save file just to get past a certain point because the game wouldn't run properly and there was no escaping the location I was stuck in. It's also incredibly easy to miss certain things that you are supposed to find. I had to use a walkthrough just to finish the game and even then I was left confused by the plot around the ending. Really disappointing. If you're considering buying this game, I'd suggest just watching a playthrough on Youtube or something. Save yourself the time and the headache.
A disappointing sequel that loses almost everything that made the first game special. The atmosphere is gone, the story is a convoluted mess, and the new protagonist is much less compelling than Victoria McPherson. The puzzles feel more like tedious busywork than clever challenges. It's a classic case of a follow-up that misunderstands why people liked the original. Only hardcore completionists of the series should bother, and even then, lower your expectations way down.
An already average game gives way to, somehow, an even worse one. Unintuitive awful UI, even worse puzzles, awful voice acting and worse art direction. Grating sound design, with constant crunching, wood creaking, and other random sounds as well as music overpowering the dialogue. No pretty environments like the first game; The entirety of it takes place in one boring house. I enjoyed the cinematography of the pre-rendered cutscenes, and the Saw-esque sections were interesting, but out of place. I didn't care about any character besides Victoria. The side characters felt like cardboard cutouts. What's worse is the fact that there is NO resolution to any of the plot threads that are in the first game. Everything is revealed in rushed flashback sequences. Then, there's a 4 year time skip to an unrelated case. Everything is fine, we're back to status quo. It has no regard for your time as a player. What was the point of anything? Why would you shoehorn in the sequel that hard just to make the first game not matter? Very frustrating. There's plot twists for the sake of plot twists instead of actually writing a compelling narrative. Game-breaking bugs return, unlike the features that made Still Life 1 interesting. Save often because if you do one thing out of order, you won't be able to finish the game. Which was a blessing at this point. I was over it and watched a video of the ending and I'm glad I did. If you want to drag your feet through the broken glass that is this game like Paloma did, just use a walkthrough.
If nothing else, this game is destined to be divisive, and whilst it’s certainly not “Still Life: Part 2”, it does – just barely – do enough good things to deserve to be called Still Life 2.
Horrible gameplay, nonsensical story, bugs and disappointing ending (both)
A Sequel That Does Not Feel Like One
Still Life 2 is the unfortunate answer to a question no one was asking. Instead of meaningfully continuing the story from the first game, it sidelines the original plot and forces a completely new, tonally dissonant killer into the spotlight. In its attempt to chase the gory survival-horror trends of the Saw and Silent Hill era, it abandons the moody, detective-noir charm that made and still makes Still Life 1, a classic.
What this game does well?
Musical Score: The soundtrack is genuinely good and atmospheric, even if its implementation in-game can be jarring. An Ending: For those absolutely desperate for a resolution to the first game's cliffhanger, this game does technically provide one. Even if it feels like a loose end the developers wanted to quickly sweep away.
Why this game fails as a sequel?
Narrative Bait: The main plot has almost nothing to do with the first game. The original killer's story is resolved through lazy flashbacks, feeling like a developer's checklist rather than a natural conclusion. Loss of Identity: The slow-burn, atmospheric detective work is gone, replaced by timed escape-the-room puzzles, frustrating inventory management, and a focus on gruesome spectacle over psychological tension. Tedious and Frustrating Gameplay: Navigating the killer's house is a chore. The game is bloated with an overwhelming number of items and an absurd number of passwords and codes to remember, many of which require manual entry. A guide is almost mandatory, which is a sign of poor design. Random Plot Twists: The story's major reveals feel unearned and lack proper foreshadowing or evidence, making them feel arbitrary and unsatisfying.
TL;DR
This game feels like it was made by a different team with a different vision, and that's because it was. It fails as a sequel to Still Life and isn't strong enough to stand on its own as a survival horror game. I would recommend playing the phenomenal Still Life 1 and simply imagine your own end to the story. That will almost certainly be more satisfying than what Still Life 2 is trying to desperately pursue.
There are no character models only on Steam It only loaded the hair, eyes and teeth very annoying frustrating and disappointing It has non of the charm of the first Still Life. The plot is simply boring and the whole concept of typical maniac from C movie makes it even worse ...
