Barely played the game, but I'm already loving it! Very complex, but that's what you get the game for. There are some rough edges, but overall is very enjoyable

As a long time player of games like Stellaris and Galactic Civilizations, this game is a refreshing new take on the space opera genre. Reminiscent of Star Dynasties, I found myself drawn into the intrigue and drama, with enough depth to keep me interested, and a somewhat strange lack of micro. I find myself wondering if I'm supposed to be doing more on occasion - it would be nice to have an alert system to notify me of things like missing ministers and other issues. The other most glaring issue it the writing. For a largely text based game, the writing has a lot to be desired, and could definitely use a touch up. Overall, an amazing game if you enjoy a more guided space opera experience.

If you want to play galactic politics and conquer the galaxy, this game is for you! It's pretty much as it is advertised, it's not expensive, and if you're into the basic idea, you will have a good time. A quick before you buy is that replay value is a little limited. Eventually you start to recognize the events, and things get samey. All the same, I have had several hours of good fun for not that much money, so I can't complain.

great game, really gives you the feel of controlling a vast empire. Dev is awesome and open with the community and development.

After the Release i was al little bit dissapointed, i thought Stellar Monarch 1 were superior, but now with the DLC Stellar Monarch 2 is a truely great game. You are in Charge of an Galactic Empire and it feels like that. your admirals do what they suppose to do and you have to manage your attention beetween Interstellar Wars and Problems of your Cousins Lovelife.... Great Game!
