Great game, love the fast-paced movement and the enemy design :)

I didn't know this game existed until it was gifted to me, but after having experienced it, I can say for certain that this is something I'd absolutely have purchased eventually had I known about it..! KILLBUG tosses you in to a single arena with some unique geometry you can navigate by jumping, wall-running, dashing, etc. Immediately, hostile insects will spawn in and begin target you with various attacks. Your only means of defense are a blade that also serves as your dash, and a gun that's ammo is a slowly-refilling resource. You can heal with your melee attack, but otherwise, that's all there is to it. Eventually, more aggressive enemy types will spawn, and they'll increase in numbers greatly. It's very arcadey and the goal overall is to see how long you can last / how high you can get your score. I think KILLBUG is worth its base price, but it's an absolute STEAL on discount. Pick this game up if you like a good survival challenge to play

KILLBUG é um jogo simples, rápido e extremamente divertido no que ele se propõe. O combate é intuitivo e satisfatório, daqueles que te fazem entrar no fluxo sem precisar pensar demais: é só se mover, atacar e destruir tudo que aparece pela frente. Os inimigos ajudam muito nisso por serem agressivos o suficiente para manter a tensão constante, principalmente quando começam a cercar você. O mais legal é que sobreviver por mais tempo depende bastante de movimento e leitura do cenário. Usar a escalada para ganhar espaço, escapar de grupos ou reposicionar durante o combate deixa tudo mais dinâmico e evita que o jogo vire apenas apertar botão sem pensar. Mesmo sendo caótico, existe ritmo e controle nas partidas. No fim, KILLBUG é exatamente o tipo de jogo perfeito pra passar o tempo: rápido, direto e muito divertido. Simplesmente sair matando tudo pela frente nunca perde a graça aqui.

another wonderful microgame boomer-shoot, seemingly just the one map, simple to play, difficult to excel in, but the movement works very well and leaves you wanting to try again

Would greatly benefit from meta progression and weapon variety at the very least. Feels like an attempt to make a worse version of Risk of Rain 2 at the moment. In my heart I give is a 6 out of 10 for a cheap indie game, but in summary I can't recommend what I've experienced so far.

It's the arcade FPS action of Devil Daggers but this time featuring Entomophobia. Fun for people who enjoy getting high scores and seeing how long they can last against a horde. Not really my thing, but you might enjoy it.

Cute, super simple. Got a gun that reloads from killing with your melee that also heals you, go for the high score against bugs. It's a fine game, but not my cup of tea for a high score chaser.
