Il n'y a pas mieux. J'ai grandi avec 1080 Avalanche, SSX jusqu'à On tour et Amped 3. Et Steep est le mieux, le jeu est un cadeau pour les fans du genre, même en 2026, les graphismes, les traces de neige, le monde ouvert sans chargement avec les Alpes, l'Alaska et le Japon, les musiques que je me suis mis à écouter en dehors du jeu. Ne vous fiez pas à mon maigre nombre d'heures. J'ai jouer au jeu des centaines d'heures sur Uplay, je l'ai racheté sur Steam en promo pour faciliter le lancement du jeu sur Steam Deck qui fonctionne merveilleusement bien.

I played Steep recently, the open-world snow sports game where you snowboard, ski, wingsuit, and paraglide across huge mountain ranges. It focuses more on fast downhill action and cinematic tricks than anything else. One thing that really stood out to me is the limited variety of characters. Every rider and athlete looks extremely slim, athletic, and seems to fit the same “extreme sports pro” body type. There’s hardly any difference in body size, and there are no plus-size characters in the game. This makes the world feel narrow in terms of representation. Snow sports in real life attract many people, including casual riders and beginners of all body types. The game doesn’t reflect that. Instead, it presents a very specific and idealized image of what an athlete is meant to look like. Gameplay-wise, it’s still enjoyable. The snowboarding feels smooth and responsive. However, the lack of body diversity makes the presentation feel less authentic. Adding more plus-size characters would make the game world feel more realistic and inclusive, without taking away from what makes it fun to play.
