Disclaimer: I am friends with the developer of this game, I will still try to be as neutral as possible. StealthScape is a simplistic top-down fast paced game where you try to go to the finish potal as quickly as you can while avoiding obstacles. You can also collect points that buy you some more time. I had much fun while playing the pre-packed levels, however I think the best fun came from creating my own wacky levels and letting other people play them. It gives me the same sensation Super Mario Maker gave me but with a completely different gameplay and with much more advanced tools like light-scripting with If/Else/And/Xor/Timer blocks. While I was a bit turned off by the floaty movement at first, I was able to pretty easily work with it after a few hours. It definitely feels good the way it is and gives the spaceship a certain weight! The developer is very caring and tries their best to deliver a fun experience for anyone who wants to create but also play levels around the world. There's a lot of content and a lot of time you can put in this game.

This is very underrated
Feels something like Super Meat Boy imagined as a score attack racer, though that might be a tenuous comparison. Very fun. Really enjoyed the main song that plays. Large Pit in World B was probably a bit too noticeable a difficulty jump, and the difficulty dropped off again after that. I would like to see more like the one with the long corner and the close-behind clone. Made me feel like I was playing Trackmania! Though the player character would have to travel a little slower and have more momentum for it to really feel like that, which is not what the game is going for really (which is fine!). It would be nice if one could scroll through the leaderboard, not just see top/close/friends scores+times. And if this gets any kind of a player base, would be nice to know exactly how many people are on the leaderboard (e.g. "#4 (out of 89)" or "top 3%" or w/e). The game starts in windowed mode, and you have to complete the little tutorial level before full-screening it, which is a little annoying. Looking forward to World C releasing. Hopefully more interesting mechanics like the clone mechanic follow! (I'll update my review when the full game comes out, if I remember)
All around, a great indie game. I like how the acceleration works, it makes for a very entertaining and unpredictable play-through. The music adds a nice feel as you're playing, it suites the game pretty well. Typically you'll obviously wanna not use a trackpad but I've been stuck using one some of the time and that's been a fun added challenge lol. Something I find cool is the system for unlocking new items but once the game is finished it would be even better if there were more unlocks and also certain challenges to unlock special items compared to just going through levels to unlock new tracers, pallets etc. All in all I'd give it a 8/10, really worth it for the price, would recommend it for sure. Can't wait for the full release :)
Stealthscape is an absolutely amazing game made by a very passionate developer. It's extremely addicting, as it's fast-paced frantic action has always left me wanting more. The game's story is intriguing, and the customization system allows you to trick out your ship with a ton of cool options. I've witnessed the entire game's development up to this point, and I know Carson will achieve all the early access plans and continue to create something truly special!
very fun game, you know a game is good when you grind the first level for an hour for a good score instead of playing the other ones (im top 5 :D (update: 1st place on time leaderboards :D)) youre gonna enjoy this game a lot if you like speedrunning, ive already unlocked everything customizable by the time i beat the first 15 levels just because i wanted to get a better time on these, the physics and shooting might appear pretty bad for a game like this but the physics actually allows for some crazy strats and shooting recoils you which means you can accelerate and decelerate way more easily and somewhat negate the "weird" physics of the game the things that occur every few levels after the first 30 levels you complete are also pretty cool (im not spoiling you, check it out yourself) i havent even completed the whole game yet lol im like 2/3 through and you can see that i have like 30 hours of playtime also i havent even mentioned that you can make your own levels, this adds way more replayability for the game if you somehow run out of levels to speedrun in the main packs tldr: this game is very fun, you will very enjoy it if you like speedrunning

An addictive score-chaser in which you pilot an Asteroids-like ship, that carries a fair amount of momentum, through tons of user-generated mazes, while avoiding enemies and grabbing goodies. Killer.
