interesting premise, environment, and characters, but the mechanics make it a slog. The game has several endings and no save system or ability to skip opening cutscenes, which require playing through the entire game several times. Unfortunately, the body of the game doesn't have the replayability that this setup requires. You're forced to go back and forth between a handful of locations, and often then wait for the npcs to catch up to you.
I wanted to like this game for the retro style, simple walking sim game play emphasising dialogue and exploration, and future Lovecraftian style. So I start on a boat, go to a janky island, climb some weird ramps and caves, and get to a base where they are studying the island. After exploring two small areas with scientists, mainly dialogue, I go back to base and click through some dialogue. From there I have a few options of who to side with. I think that this must be where the game begins since I feel like I just got here. After following one of the scientists to a cliff, I jump off after her. Now I'm on the moon, for some reason I'm able to breath and talk to her, and the game is over, the end. WTF

#surreal #existentialhorror #narrative #cosmichorror
Very interesting... grim, absurd, yet somehow very sombre. Kosmikophobia kind of at it's best.
When I saw the end credits I might understand where it came from, my condolensces as well.
I have always been a Lovecraft person and this game also simply divided their characters well with their personalities and choices is just up to us. Call me weird I've always rested at the idea of surrendering into the greater unknown. I loved your game, Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn.
It's a very short game with different endings; it's up to you if you want to try each one.
Visually jaw dropping, and with a mysterious and atmospheric story that grips you from the very second you first open it. A favourite of mine to revisit, and criminally overlooked. Very short, and is a bit tedious to get every ending since there's not really a way to skip things you've already seen, but all and all a very solid game that seriously sticks with you. My only complaint is there being no way to purchase the soundtrack
Words of Interesting and depressing would be the shortest way to describe this game.
Delectable PSX horror atmosphere, cryptic & unnerving dialogue, and unfathomable cosmic horror experienced through multiple fun endings. Stars Die.
