About
Starfall Deck is a Rogue-lite City Builder where your deck is your city.
On a hostile alien planet, you must build upwards to survive. Your colony is fragile, your resources are scarce, and your only currency is Hope.
Forget traditional construction menus. In Starfall Deck, your buildings are your cards, and your strategy is your deck.
Card-Based Construction: Every module, upgrade, and emergency action is drawn from your deck.
Manage Your Aetherium: Use your limited Aetherium energy during the Night Phase to play cards. Will you build a Fusion Reactor for power, or a Hydroponic Unit for food?
Vertical Expansion: Space is limited. You must build vertically, stacking modules on a grid to maximize efficiency and adjacency bonuses.
The game operates on a tight Day/Night cycle where every decision has consequences.
Day Phase (Observation): Watch your colony run. If your Energy or Life Support (Oxygen, Water, Heat) runs into a deficit, your colony's Hope will plummet.
Night Phase (Action): This is your time to react. Draw your hand, deploy new modules, and fix critical failures before the sun rises.
The Threat of Hope: Hope is your health bar. If it hits 0%, the colony falls.
The planet is alive and it wants you gone. The Atmospheric Instability meter is always ticking.
Disasters: Prepare for Ion Storms, Acid Rain, and Meteor Showers. Build Shield Generators to protect your tower or suffer structural damage.
Random Events: Adapt to fluctuating conditions. A "Dense Fog" might reduce card draw, while an "Ion Rain" might cheapen your energy costs.
Failure is just a stepping stone.
Meta-Progression: Earn Reputation Points after every run based on your population and survival time.
Unlock the Legacy: Visit the "Legacy Terminal" to unlock new card blueprints, powerful starting bonuses, and unique Tower Leaders with special abilities.
