Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 12 → 0.17/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

the game play its self is pretty fun and addictive. controls take a while to get used to but when you do the game is really fun

The game has a lot of odd charm to it. It has a couple of my favorite missions out of any game I've ever played. I cannot recommend it, sadly. The controls are busted to the point a throttle controls your craft's banking not its speed, so if you play with a joystick and don't have the throttle perfectly at 50% you're going to go spinning. Getting hit by anything sharply jostles your craft to the point it only takes a couple of the game's weakest enemies hitting you at once to stun lock you. The story falls apart near the end to the point that the POV Naboo character flies as his own wingman in the final mission. The final mission also has no explanation as to why you're attacking the droid control ship other than to destroy a transmitter. It would take only a little effort to make this game functional but as it is? Stay away.
Solid arcady space shooter which works well on modern systems
Wouldn't it be cool if we made a star wars game with a lot of tight caverns and interiors to fly around in? Yes! Oh lets also made it so that every time you get shot your ship turns 45 degrees so you smash into the closest wall and every time you smash into said wall it abruptly turns you again so you smash into something else over and over until you explode! And for the cherry on top let’s give them objective complete checkpoints that actually do nothing so they have to restart the mission anytime something goes wrong. Ya don't buy this game :(
4/10
Unplayable with an XBox controller, a GameSir N2, or an 8BitDo controller. Playing with keyboard and mouse is an absolute joke. STAY AWAY!!
I remember playing this game as released on the good ol Xbox Prime back in the day and played it again recently because I wanted to experience it again now that I wasn't a terrible little toss who was bad at games. Gotta say, it's a little clarifying to be able to distinguish my own lack of skill from a game that's just not very good. It has a lot working in its favor structurally, with interesting and varied mission structures, but as many of the below reviews mention, the controls leave a lot to be desired. Chief among the problems is the shaking. Good god, the shaking. I understand it in principle: mastering piloting involves controlling the craft as it rocks under the impact of turbulence and attacks. But this is a game, and the turbulence of these attacks is extremely unpleasant. In many levels, a sufficient number of enemies firing in your general direction will shake your screen in a violent stunlock until death, with very little you can do about it. If you want to try and maneuver to avoid it, you're almost out of luck; you lack any fancy maneuvering actions like in other star-fighter experiences like the space battles of Battlefront II 2005, and speeding up or slowing down results in the same violent shaking for the first 3 seconds minimum. It's abysmal to play against. It's littered with smaller problems as well. Some levels are plagued with piss poor visibility, some levels are overburdened with an absurd number of enemies to exacerbate the control issues, and the primary Naboo fighter was very underwhelming compared to the other two fighters. Ultimately, not worth the nostalgia. Better Star Wars Starfighter games exist; just go play Battlefront II 2005 instead.
Good sound effects, soundtrack, and ship designs as one would expect in a Star Wars game about starfighter combat. Graphics didn't age well and the default controls for a controller are awful but fixable. This games biggest issue in my opinion is getting shot knocks you around like you're in a pinball machine, which can lead to instant death in the more confined maps or stunlock if you put invincibility on. Honestly recommend avoiding this one, grab any one of the other Star Wars space combat games
🚀 STAR WARS Starfighter - The X-Wing Experience You Didn't Know You Needed STAR WARS Starfighter is a classic space shooter that lets you live out your dream of piloting iconic ships in the Star Wars universe. Whether you’re blasting through asteroid fields or dogfighting with TIE Fighters, this game brings the thrill of galactic combat to your screen. The controls are tight, the missions are fast-paced, and if you’re a Star Wars fan, it’s a nostalgic trip to a galaxy far, far away. Pros: * Iconic Ships, Epic Battles: Fly legendary ships like the X-Wing and Jedi Starfighter, blasting your way through space in a series of exciting, mission-based levels. For Star Wars fans, it’s the ultimate fantasy come true. * Fast and Fun Combat: The space combat is satisfying, with plenty of maneuvering, shooting, and dodging missiles. It’s arcade-style, but with enough depth to keep you hooked. * Story and Setting: Set during the Star Wars prequel trilogy, you’ll be hopping between iconic locations like Naboo and the asteroid belt. It’s a good blend of Star Wars lore and action-packed space combat. * Tight Controls: The flight controls are smooth and responsive. Whether you’re strafing TIE Fighters or diving into an asteroid field, the controls make you feel like a true ace pilot. * Nostalgia Factor: If you grew up on *Star Wars* games, this one will hit you right in the feels. It’s a reminder of the golden age of space combat sims. Cons: * Outdated Graphics: The game’s visuals are definitely showing their age. While the space battles still look fun, the textures, character models, and environments feel quite dated. * Limited Complexity: The game’s systems aren’t as deep as modern space shooters. You won’t be managing fuel or complex tactics it’s more about flying and shooting, which might feel too simple for some players. * Short Campaign: The campaign is fun, but it’s pretty short. If you’re looking for a sprawling Star Wars experience, you might be disappointed. * Mission Variety Could Be Better: Some of the missions feel repetitive, with too much focus on "destroy all enemies" or "escort" objectives. A little more variety in mission types would’ve kept things fresher. * No Multiplayer: While the single-player experience is decent, there’s no multiplayer mode. If you’re looking for dogfighting with friends, you won’t find it here. Verdict: STAR WARS Starfighter is a fun and fast-paced space shooter that gives you a solid Star Wars experience, especially if you’re nostalgic for the old-school era of space combat games. While it lacks the complexity and polish of modern space sims, it’s still a great option for Star Wars fans who want to pilot their favorite ships and engage in classic galactic dogfights. Just don’t expect the most cutting-edge visuals or mission variety but if you’re here for the space action, it delivers.
