Best online space combat sim
como en las peliculas....
For this review I was playing it in vr with an xbox controller: The Gameplay: This was actually fairly fun and all of the ships felt good to use and strong in their own ways my favourites were the TIE Bomber for its Multi lock on missiles and the U-Wing as I'm a big fan of Andor and Rouge One. During the drift tutorial my game ended up feezing and I had to close the game 3 times before it did'nt feeze on that part, and on Mission 6 when escaping the explosion it forced my ship into some corners which caused me to get killed. Characters/Plot: The story itself wasn't bad but what really annoyed me was when the game asked me to pick my faction it felt as though my choice never mattered as I did the first mission as the Empire then 4 missions of Rebels back to back despite me you know, not picking the Rebels and the Rebel missions felt way longer than the average empire mission further making it feel more rebel centred as 90% of the Rebel missions are in the first half of the game. I also thought that depending on my chocie I would either get just the Empire ending or just the Rebels ending but you get both so your starting choice means nothing. The cast of squadrons is ok, not the best i'll start with Vanguard then go to Titan. The Squad Leader Gunny was boring and her whole gimmick seems to just be boiled down to being ugly as hell, looking like a dried Cranberry. Grace was by far the most boring member being Generic Rebel Girl with little to no personality. Keo I hate, Nerd emoji, annoying yapper whos a wanna be force sensor. Should have beeon on Alderaan in A New Hope. Frisk was by far the best squad member feeling like an actual Rebel who sees the good in what they do, Aside from me thinking He was a girl with his voice I have no complaints about Frisk. Lindon Javes while he should've died and his betrayal was predictable he was a good character, not much to say. Titan Squad is overall better starting with the Squadron leader Grey. Grey was actually a really good character with suprisingly good morals for someone in the Empire, he cares about his squad and has passion for being a pilot, my only gripe was the fact in literally one of his last conversations he jsut randomly mentions he's gay which added nothing to his character or the plot feeling very forced in. Sol....yeah she's boring next. Vonreg is your "I HATE REBELS" "I LOVE KILLING" person who adds some humour to the Empires side and like Grey has a passion for being a TIE Pilot. Shen is the best character in the game without question, Good motive for fighting, Cares about his squad, Rule of cool, and "Helmet stays on during sex" attitude, he was the one character where i looked forward to what he would have to say about the upcoming mission. Terisa is an alright character, decent story, decent motives byt MAN that haircut is UGLY. LT-514 is alright and Ardo from Vangaurd is Ackbar at home. the last character I want to mention is Darth Vader......His VA was kinda buns, He did a good job but they picked the least Vader guy to play Vader. All around for $5 on Sale this was a very good game aside from it taking 41 minutes to set up the vr mode and the EA sign in popping up every time I booted up the game because it kept forgetting I signed into EA which got annoying. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME AT FULL PRICE It is not worth getting anywhere above $20 let alone near $60 Its not a Star Wars game i would recommend but If you get on a big steam sale its a good grab but I would rate it around a 5.8/10
Poo...
Das Drift Toturial ist furchtbar häng da seit 5 Minuten fest und hab keine Ahnung was das Game genau will. Ansonsten Okay wer auf Weltraumschlachten und den dazu passenden Flugkampf steht empfehlenswert.
Not only no, but ♥♥♥♥ no. The controls are horrible and clunky. Any sort of advanced or tight movement makes you feel like you're flying a brick. Complex turns will just randomly stop mid-flight, forcing you to press the key again to continue turning. Not only that, but you're completely unable to turn in any direction while firing your lasers. EA couldn't even handle the bare minimum and make the game playable immediately upon launch. My first time launching the game resulted in an almost immediate error, followed by a bluescreen. You're better off going and buying ARMA 3 and modding it than ever buying this piece of ♥♥♥♥.
