Hours of trying to get Quest 2 PCVR to work properly in every possible configuration minus Virtual Desktop and I gave up... It refused to render in proper VR mode, instead displaying as a flat window. What a waste of time. But for $4 it's hard to pass up as it is still a very serviceable experience playing normally.. THE SOLUTION was linking the headset with Meta Link and then launching the Steam Link app in the Quest 2 and then launching the game from there. THAT was what got it to launch in proper VR mode. For a game that was supposed to natively support VR, it is a stupidly convoluted process to get the game playing in VR mode. That being said, I have every setting maxed out and it still doesn't look as good as some videos others have captured and I can't figure out why.

it's a blast if you just wish you could pilot starfighters. the controls feel good on controller. the storyline is interesting but not super long. if you play multiplayer, get good fast.
very fun if you ever wanted to be a rebels pilot or empire and best of yet you get the best of both sides i love using this game for when i use my flight sim it makes it very immersive and fun i would def buy this even todays time in 2026 still a great game but you might find it hard to find public games but the story is amazing
it's good flight stuff, i like the mechanics of power management and shunting shields etc. this game is great in vr too
Campaign is fun but short. Multiplayer is dead. Buy on sale. The OG games are better.
