Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.57/day in the week to Sep 12 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Interesting narrative and characters, leaning in a more philosophical direction compared to the black-and-white-nature of the first game. As a whole I enjoyed the original more, particularly its locations and companions, but I could see this sequel offering greater replayability.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Its a great game
One of the best Star Wars games to ever exist. This game has absolutely no right being as good as it is and is updated like clockwork :) This is Star Wars in it's prime
One of the best RPGs of all time. I played it as a kid and played it as an adult and still think it is in my top 10 best games I've ever played.
This game is the best Star Wars thing to exist, second only to Andor for me. 🤣
I both love and hate that this game doesn't walk you through every single part of the story. You really gotta explore the map, even when it seems very straight forward. Newer games just baby the hell out of you and never force you to think at all about what you're supposed to be doing. Makes the pacing a lot slower, but I've been really liking that. Having so quick save after almost every combat and reload my frozen in place character is a bit tedious though lol
As a massive fan of the first game I had high expectations for this sequel and for now it hasn't disappointed me. It's the same concept as the first game but their are some quality of life improvements on the gameplay and the story is cool! I am playing the modified version with restored content and bug fixes called TSLRCM. (MOD on steam workshop) Just to be warned it is a "talking game" because you interact and make choices, which I found I got bored with at times. It is basically an old game with a lot of things to do but not so good graphics anymore. But overall it's a big thumbs up for me!
games awesome!
I don't really feel like playing this for the 5th time again or whatever so I'll just review it now. KotOR 2! It's a western style RPG from Obsidian, made I suppose with the toolset that made KotOR 1. The two games are related mostly only by some story stuff, namely the Mandalorian Wars, Darth Revan, and stuff like that. Other than this game taking place after all that, after the events of the first game, this is pretty much an entirely new story, with new characters (mostly) and definitely new themes. KotOR 1 is primarily concerned with morality. It is a game about the true nature of what it means to be good, or evil, or in-between. It's pretty great! The story is the main focus, since the gameplay is pretty much the same as the first game, though if I recall KotOR 2 in general features more skill checks and so on throughout the game. There's a lot of dialogue and talking, between your character, known as The Exile, and the many different companions you will meet throughout the game, as well as all of the people throughout the game who need you to do stuff for them, or just want to tell you about things. The game, moreso than the first, is almost constantly trying to give you moral quandries to solve, and because of the game's theming it does help make even simple choices, like to walk on by a man being beaten or to save him, a little more interesting. In many cases while you are essentially making choices, based on what you believe to be 'right' you are also often challenged by one of your companions, Kreia, often, on why you make the choices you make. It's good stuff. Aside from that, the game has pretty strong 'end of a golden age' themes. Dark tones throughout the story. There's some fun here and there to be had, but this is a pretty drab, miserable game. It's a game focused on veterans of a big intergalactic war that hurt a lot of people, the Republic seems like it's only barely staying afloat, and a lot of the people you will meet seem to only be barely scraping by. No one really seems to be prospering, and there's a massive sense of foreboding brought on by the appearance of the Sith, and the main villains of the game whom you often see in cutscenes. There's pretty strong horror vibes during the first chunk of the game, too. It's pretty great, and the game does a good job of establishing the dread of pursuit, of the emptiness of an asteroid base where you are the only survivor. There are places later on too that feel horribly desolate, and if you played the first game, locations that are completely dead that you might otherwise be familiar with as relatively thriving communities. It's pretty cool. So the game feels almost apocalyptic, and it's a foreboding experience throughout. KotOR 2 unfortunately isn't all perfect, because this is one of those games where it is notoriously unfinished. There's fan patches to fix the game up and make it playable, to restore cut content (of which there is a LOT) but it's frustrating that many of these things are necessary in the first place. While I think the game stands alone just fine, before any restoration projects, there are also widescreen patches and such you need to get the game running up to modern standards. Thankfully, this game supports Steam Workshop, which is fantastic, and if you're buying the game here you can for the most part get everything you need right here on Steam. Awesome. By comparison with the first game, KotOR 1, that game requires you to modernize it all on your own with a bunch of .exe files and batch scripts, which is not a super fun time. For the purposes of this review however I did reinstall the game again, and not only were my Steam cloud saves intact, I didn't have to do anything else to make the game work, other than let Steam download my subscribed Workshop mods again. So once you have it set up, that is that. And that's pretty great in my opinion. KotOR 2 is a fantastic western RPG and I would highly recommend it if you are interested at all in that sort of thing. It's intelligently written, it's interesting, and it has a very satisfying conclusion that I still remember very clearly to this day. It continues some of the almost mythological themes and plot elements from the first game, regarding the myth that is 'Revan' and I have always found that immensely satisfying.
