The evil Empire is currently creating a doomsday army behind a veil of secrecy. However, they are no match for the Rebel Alliance's covert operations division. Your mission is to infiltrate the Empire and put an end to their plans for terror and domination.

Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About
Star Wars™: Dark Forces Remaster has been brought to life by the team at Nightdive Studios, fully remastered through its proprietary KEX engine, allowing the game to run on modern gaming devices at up to 4K resolution at 120FPS. New and returning players will enjoy Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster’s upgraded gameplay, high-resolution textures, enhanced lighting and rendering, and support for gamepads.
The original 1995 Star Wars: Dark Forces raised the bar for FPS games, offering players a significant degree of movement and interactivity, a large selection of items and power-ups, and engaging environments.
In the first Star Wars FPS video game, players assume the role of Kyle Katarn, a defector of the Galactic Empire turned mercenary for hire. Katarn joins the Rebel Alliance’s covert operations division tasked with infiltrating the Galactic Empire, where he discovers the secret Dark Trooper Project. The development of this powerful new series of Imperial battle droids and power-armored stormtroopers stands to strengthen the Empire’s grip on the galaxy unless Katarn and the Rebel Alliance intervene.

Doomguy could never.
Used to play the original game when i was younger. Its a pretty good remaster. plays well. Controls are good. not laggy.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 1: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Nice boomer shooter
He is very resourceful
This was one of my first experiences with a video game. Goes back when I was 5-6 years old, playing this exact game on Windows 98. Not the remaster mind you, the actual original game. Later when I had Playstation back at home, I've beaten it there as well. In my honest opinion, this along with Star Wars Republic Commando is the best first person shooter star wars game. I think there are not nearly enough actual first person shooters. Later games would focus more on Jedi, Dark Forces 2 while it is great, is technically more of a jedi game than a first person shooter, even if the element is there. If you haven't played the game, this is a good introduction to the series. It's a simple boomer shooter, that while it looks like doom, it's not really doom. The weapons are different and the level designs are more modern with more platforming than the original doom had. Still I think if you are into star wars and first person shooters, you will adore this game. The enemies range from your classic trooper to full on Dark Troopers. Speaking of Dark Troopers, this is the game that formally introduced them to the series. The music... Oh my god, the music is peak star wars. I don't know what it is, but that old DOS music along with star warsy theme that just... hits right. It's perfect, kudos to Nightdive for actually keeping the original music. If you are wondering what the difference between the remaster and the original is, there isn't that much. It's mostly polished cutscened, optimized to run on newer hardware and there are some extras you can check out. Only problem is it's a bit short. Took me about 9 hours to complete it. First timers might take an extra hour. I recommend playing on Medium if this is your first time. Hard is challenging, but I think fair enough. Jabba's level might be the most brutal level to finish on hard, but other than that, it is doable, I am the proof of it. Excellent game. If it's on off sale, give it a go. You will love it.
