Almost 10 years later and Battlefront II is one of the very best Star Wars games ever made. It had a rough launch, but in its current state, even being abandoned by EA and no longer receiving updates, the game's community is still as strong as ever. GRAPHICS: 8/10. For what it is, it's fantastic. Running on High 1440p, textures look crisp, minimal ghosting or blurring. Some of the Anti-Aliasing can be a bit spotty in some high density areas but it's hardly noticeable. Textures and lighting are all fantastic even almost a decade later, it definitely doesn't look like an aged game. GAMEPLAY: 10/10. This game's biggest strength. Absolutely a blast to play, between all the different trooper classes, heroes vehicles, gamemodes, etc: There's almost always something fun to do. Combat flows very well, abilities are fun and rewarding. Easily the most immersive of star wars games when it comes to combat aside from the Jedi series. PERFORMANCE: 9/10. Runs incredibly well on my 9070xt. Prior to this I had an rtx5050 laptop on which is ran just fine as well. Game is well optimized and still looks good even on lower graphics settings. For good systems, expect 200+ fps on High. Overall, this is a must buy if you're a Star Wars fan and the game's on sale. One of my favorite games ever made.
