Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 27 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a money grubbing scam. Don't buy it. No cross play, servers are dead, and no more further support or updates. there was like maybe one or two developers total working on this game and they barely made improvements. If you want better graphics go buy the original Battlefront 2 and download mods. All they needed to do was improve the graphics, make it cross play to prevent the game from dying, launch without bugs and add a couple of features. Instead they had two developers get together one afternoon throw a bunch of crap together and call it a day. If Aspyr actually cared they would have put the time in to accomplish the things I listed and this game would have been close to game of the year. I hope Aspyr loses their license for star wars. Let me state this one more time, don't buy this, this is a money grubbing scam.
Despite being a remaster, this has no improvements over the originals, which can still be purchased, and cost less combined. They also have more active players, and all that is missing is a few dlc maps and characters for Battlefront 2.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

This makes me sad to think about how much of a cash grab this was literally was dead on arrival. Used to be one of my favorite games when I was younger just a sorry ass game.
Abandonware. Only good sides are Splitscreens games and controller support But its still a buggy mess and theres so many issues with this game that need fixing.
The games sorta fixed, but now it is dead. Nothing in the base game is actually changed outside of some upscale. The menus are just not tolerable for something in 2024, Just a clunky mess of things.
Ok i see a lot of mixed opinions in the reviews. and a lot of the negative ones just say dont bother without an explanation. So here is my take do not listen to reviews that are one liners. they do not explain the problems. This game is spectacular but only if you are playing on controller only. pc controls have not been configurated properly and it shows. so if you do want to get this make sure you got a gamepad first. Which lets be honest most of us played these classics on ps2 and OG xbox. So we are gonna do it again XD Gameplay is just like i remember and graphics while have been slightly improved it is essentially the same as it was before just re textured for HD and 4k so if your wanting todays graphics U turn and head to EAs recent travisty that is thier version of Battlefield Ahem i mean battlefront. currently i have been mainly playing BF2 on galactic conquest mode because why wouldnt i. and its just as great as i remember. I have yet to try the multiplayer function yet but soon shall and will update the review when i do. however seeing split screen as an option still makes me wanna scream like an exited teenage girl XD
I'm happy with the minor graphic improvements, Steam achievements, as well as solid Steam Deck support. However, Aspyr completely dropped the ball on the launch experience and simply overcharged for this product. Had launch gone correctly, I think we'd have a thriving community of people on the multiplayer servers. I'm disappointed that we will likely never see another reattempt of this.
Started pretty bad, but with the updates that have been put out its honestly better than the original at this point. It has a lot of bug fixes not in the original PC release, as well as better UI, modern settings, missing audio fixes, and it's two games in one package. As long as you're not interested in mods, this is great. The upscaled textures could've been better and the loading screen pictures and UI kind of blow ass, but I would still take this over the old version.
Maybe some day I'll use this for a story replay. Until then, multiplayer is COMPLETELY dead, as is deserved by such a zero-effort release. I am disgusted that Valve won't allow refunds for this obvious scam.
This is such an awful remaster. The launch had 3 servers for thousands of players and had many bugs. 3 months later the game still has noticeably bad issues such as the menus not functioning properly, and various sound bugs like the Wampa sound effect playing throughout the whole match even though I wasn't a Wampa. This game should have been cross-platform to keep the player base going and should have had mod support, rather than the badly AI up-scaled textures which made the game 60GB (the originals together were about 10GB). Plus the price of the game, it's £30! It's not acceptable at all. Just buy the originals.
