Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 27 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

But they didn't do anything; they just added online servers (something they already reactivated in the older versions) and bundled the two games together. You're better off saving your money and buying the 2005 version. The first one isn't really worth it in my opinion, mainly because of maybe two maps, but it doesn't even have heroes and villains. So, with the money you saved from the second game, buy other games.
OG was my favorite game of all time, this is a great remaster for Galactic Conquest unsure about any online play as I haven't used it.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

After playing on PS5, Switch, and PC I can say that after patch 3 they really fixed things up, but there is still ways to go. One thing I would like to mention is that they added AI heroes and Villains for BF2 on Instant Action for CTF and Conquest. I would really like to see them add settings options for XL mode and Galactic Conquest as the matches end to quickly. Also if Aspyer really wants people to return to this game they should add new heroes and villains and new maps via updates. Mod Support for all platforms pls.
Crazy I just bought this game while still having the original in my steam library. Only reason I purchased it was so I could play splitscreen and splitscreen is broken atm, controllers do not work.

Mainly interested in single player ? These versions are an improvement over the original PC versions in the following ways. BF1 : Crouch/Prone bug that was introduced in steam release is fixed. Greatly increased LOD and no more low res "hunchback" soldiers as the game can fully render all. BF2 : The AI can now use heroes in conquest AND galactic conquest ( the mod available in OG only works for normal conquest ) like it can in the Xbox version. The previously Xbox exclusive DLC has been added. Multiplayer is unfortunately still a mixed bag due to them not updating that old, creaky 2005 Netcode. However, the reasons above made it worth it for me for single player.
I can't understand the hate, this is literally the OG Battlefront experience that we had back in 2004/2005. This is amazing!!
