Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 27 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Unfortunately, this game is super dead. It is sad to see because after a few updates it became a good remaster of the original. I am recommending this purely due to the single player modes. Otherwise, if you are buying this for online game play do not bother. All the servers are dead.
A shameless and mean spirited port of what is probably the best shooter of the 2000s.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I get people are frustrated with the online issues on launch which are no longer a concern, but coming from someone who had the originals as well, this game is definitely an improvement. I bought it for the offline battles, steam deck support and splitscreen with controller support to be able to play it with my wife. If all you want to do is online this its probably best to wait and hope more people might play as servers are no longer an issue, but if you want a breath of nostalgia with improved graphics and gameplay then this game is all for you.
Genuinely wish I could get a refund but bought through GMG. I thought surely it would be impossible to butcher something like this. Lo and behold, it was most definitely possible. Avoid at all costs, don't make the mistake I did.
What made this game great was galactic conquest. People would assume after over a decade, Aspyr could have brought the BEST game mode in this game to online. But they didn't. Not worth the price tag you put on it. Disgrace to a nostalgic classic and a prime example of a money hungry dev. If you want to play the game again, just get the original version on Steam for less than $5.
I forgot to refund this in time after the scuffed launch this collection had. Now that it has faded into irrelevance and nearly two years have passed to fix the bugs, I finally booted it up to see if the initial bad press still holds water. The multiplayer is completely dead. Despite checking the server list multiple times, I've only joined a server with one other person on it. I can't speak for BF1, but BF2 still has a small contingent of active players keeping it alive. These servers are a ghost town, if you want to experience the multiplayer (or mod the game at all) just play the original release. What you're really getting out of this collection is a revamped console version of SWBF2. The console cheat codes work, the Xbox DLC maps and heroes are present, no mod support, and you can play splitscreen. In a vacuum there is nothing wrong with this, however to this day there are still loads of bugs that aren't in the original release. Couple that with the fact that they did nothing to improve the multiplayer which was the major source of the hype pre-launch, it's easy to see why nobody talks about this lackluster port anymore. Unless you REALLY want to play Rise of the Empire with a friend in splitscreen, there is no reason to spend $35 on an inferior version of classic games which go on sale for like $3. Bugs, graphical issues, and oddities I noticed while playing (mostly relating to the campaign): - Anti-Aircraft Turrets on Utapau in campaign going invisible, missing textures. - In the same level, the LAAT Gunships are not present outside of the hangar as they were in the original. - If you die while holding an objective and pick it up again, an arrow will begin following your player model as if another player picked it up and it's telling you who has it. - AI in BF1 (especially during campaign) is completely averse to entering vehicles. In BF2 this is far less of an issue, but I did notice it once on the Felucia level where the droids wouldn't enter the tank next to the tree. - While manning an AT-RT, I once brushed up against an AAT on the Mygeeto level and ended up teleporting across the map. - Boba Fett is not immediately playable on the Kamino level, he is only playable after you pick a unit first. This causes you to have to respawn much farther away from the objective if you so choose to play as him. - Sometimes enemies do not spawn unless you are right next to their spawn point, causing them to ambush you in swarms. This is most notable on the Polis Massa level. - I've also had an enemy shoot me through a door on Polis Massa. - Occasionally killing the temple guards on Coruscant or the Theed royal guards on Naboo register as a TK instead of a kill.
This collection is a complete joke. I bought this game back when it released, refounded it, and forgot about it. All technical faults aside, the collection is still a complete disaster, from file sizing to the price. Just buy the original releases. And don’t buy stuff from Aspyr, don’t let them forget this.
Pros: Full on controller support Local split screen Achievements Comes with the Xbox DLC maps with no mods required Cons: Multiplayer is dead Mods work, but many of them are buggy and can cause the game to crash Costs more than both OG Battlefront games combined and takes up more space than both games combined Lazy AI upscale "HD" textures Just stick with the originals where multiplayer is more active, has better mod support, and costs less than this bundle.
Pain, suffering, death I feel. Something terrible has happened. Young Skywalker is in pain. Terrible pain.
Yeah I think I do regret this one. Cost way too much, AI upscaled textures, 50gb+, netcode straight from 2005, dead playerbase. I wanted to love it but I just can't.
