About
Hop into the driver's seat of your rocket-powered big rig as you haul cargo, scavenge for salvage and interact with an eclectic cast of star-hopping truckers in this Americana-infused journey on the ultimate open road - space!

Hi, this is Monster and Monster. Star Trucker is our tiny indie team's passion project, and we’re committed to making it the best intergalactic trucking game we can. By listening to the community, we’re working hard to improve the experience with every update. So buckle up and join us for the long haul!

Your truck is not a starship. We’ve taken typical vehicular controls then made sure zero-g momentum played a big part in maneuvers. The result is a unique driving experience that’s easy to pick up yet hard to master!
Cruise the hyper highways, taking on a variety of jobs such as fuel hungry long hauls and hazardous drop-offs to earn cash and unlock new content.
And don't forget to monitor the CB radio for chatter from fellow truckers; it's a fantastic way to uncover side gigs and stay updated on galactic gossip.

Keeping your rig runnin’ isn’t always easy. You’ll need to keep your core systems online, gravity compensator spinnin’ and hull patched to prevent your cab from leaking lung juice.
Be sure to make pre-trip shop stops for replacement parts, and consider upgrading your truck at a local garage. These improvements are vital for safely navigating volatile sectors and ensuring timely deliveries.

Use the galactic map to plan your journey and warp jumps, while keeping an eye on your fuel reserves and power levels.
Once your route is set, kick back, crank up the cab hi-fi and cruise to a selection of original songs covering starburst blues, galactic rock and asteroid infused americana. The open road is waiting!

Beau et super chillax, manque plus que les teupus et la grosse magalax. Bisou
This game overall is very well designed and you can tell a lot of thought went into the different elements of gameplay. It's a very satisfying loop of upgrading, purchasing and completing jobs, made much more enjoyable by being able to complete more difficult loads or longer journeys. It feels rewarding to keep your rig up-and-running by managing fuel, power, gravity, climate etc and the different sectors of space with different temperatures and hazards make it feel more of a challenge. The graphics are beautiful in my opinion with some of the junctions in the solar provinces looking absolutely majestic. One small complaint is that it can be very easy to screw yourself over, which can end up in massive fines or a long grind just to get financially stable, but if you are prepare well and with a bit of experience you can become very efficient at avoiding any common or inconvenient troubles.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great premise but unfortunately very clunky mechanics. Neither playing with keyboard and mouse nor playing with a controller made controlling the truck less janky. As much as I was excited to get into this game I unfortunately cannot recommend it.
I loved the demo but MAN the parformance got ASS, its impressive actualy, 28% gpu 48% cpu and 50 fps, uncapped, lowest setting without touching res. scaling, my day is ruined.
"Yeah, She's a fixer-upper; but she flies good." I've given this game a fair shake and out of the box there's a lot to enjoy and a lot to dislike. All of it is fixable, if you're willing to get your hands a little dirty. The Rig does indeed fly like a yacht and stops like one before you toss a trailer or three behind it; then it gets much MUCH worse. Though I advocate that, yes, a giant rig like this should be unwieldly to fly in 3 dimensions. The items in your rig are sitting freely; A tactic demanding you to fly smoothly, stop smoothy, turn smoothly. With tight deadlines demanding faster and faster flying. Thankfully most small objects can be safely stored in hardcases/carboard boxes, which can be slammed about without care. Weight allocation is lenient and not lenient enough. Expect to rush stores in order to sell on-board cargo at a loss to avoid fines. Your upgrades are very fragile and will end up taking heavy hits on even slightly dubious routes. Is this game worth full price? No. However, it's absolutely worth buying it on a 75% discount with the venture/Job DLC bundled with it. All the shortcomings are fixable via 3rd party mods, and the in-game difficulty settings can be adjusted to be as lenient as you wish. All the negatives said; I love jumping back into this game and I've only just scratched the surface of the progression system. It's not terribly in depth, but it does the job and that's enough. If you want an enjoyable time flying through space in a building sized truck, albeit after some extensive aftermarket fixes, that is reminiscent of American Truck Simulator, this is a great timesink.
This game had potential, but bogged down by major issues. The first that becomes quickly apparent which is the random debris and vehicles flying around love to randomly hit your truck. It would be okay if their was any way to prevent this damage, but you can't. They spawn in and hit you with no way to avoid them. Worse, if its a vehicle, they blame you for the hit, and you are fined. This game carries its inspiration from Elite Dangerous on its sleeve, which would be fine, but if its going to do that, then it needs to give a reason for not just buying Elite Dangerous instead. Everything you do in this game, you can do in Elite Dangerous, which has better visuals, gameplay, and price. The story in Star Trucker is good, but you have to grind for punishing hours to unlock the next bit of it. I can't recommend this game, when Elite Dangerous is right there. The gameplay loop in Star Trucker needs to be tightened, by a lot. It should take minutes to get to the next story segment, not hours. Add straps keep the containers secure in your cabin. It's novel the first time, beyond annoying the next 1000 times. The monetary benefit to adding new job types should be exponential, not linear, to give a sense of story progression, rising action. Story, story, story, again focus on why people shouldn't just by your biggest inspiration. The grind should the glue to put your story bits together. Your game shouldn't be glue with little bits of story in it.
игра просто супе, единственное что NPS очень подставляют и очень сложно поставить свою музыку в игре, игра это позволяет но сделать сложно. хотелось бы ещё русскую озвучку, на этом все
Tough but fair gameplay. Awesome story & storytelling method (all through radio comms from other drivers). Scratches the driving game itch while keeping it interesting (i.e. In Space). Played through once earlier in the year and fully intend to play through again when the next major update drops in april.
Its just a fun lil game, not usually one that plays sims but its a space truck game XD I don't play it all the time but if I have 10-15 minutes to kill (or longer) to kill I'll log on and run a a few trailers around
