Star Trek: Infection

Star Trek, Horror game, and in VR... I'M SOLD!!!! Not sure what bugs yall's are talking about? Game runs great on my rig hand tracking is just fine tho my hands do get stuck on the tricorder every once in awhile. Nvidia 3090ti, 24gb Vram, and 32gb RAM.

Pretty decent game. I didnt encounter any major issues that ruin the gameplay myself. I am a star trek fan but I wasnt too sure about this one at first, Im not a horror/thiller fan, but I am enjoying this one so far.

Game runs great on my pc and looks great on my Quest 3.

Beautiful environments that perfectly fit the star trek vibe and I enjoyed the story and exploring but just felt the gameplay wasnt fun and felt like a chore. It could be me as Im not much of a puzzle game fan and the gameplay seemed to boil down to a bit of stealth and then [spoiler]deliberately infecting yourself to get alien grapples[/spoiler] in order to traverse things but do stuff in the exact right order or you die from [spoiler]over infection[/spoiler] or one of the monsters. In the end it felt like arbitrary make-work rather than enjoyable game play. Sorry, not my thing even though I absolutely love Cosmodread

I love Startrek, LCARS, and VR, I'm always eager to play any new VR game. I tried playing this game, even though its undeveloped and relies too heavily on AI-voices, it's still a fun game, I would buy a sequel to it. Oh, one more thing, the phaser looks great, but it's not fun to use at all, it just fires like a pistol instead of a sustained laser like in Star Trek.

Enjoyed playing it, its not perfect but good enough after being patched, and im not even a star trek fan, and its in VR, should be supported because alot of games are not, so buy it, you will enjoy it.

Very good so far, looks amazing and gameplay is engaging. As a star trek fan this game is a must play. Though it does need performance patches, does not run very well at this moment. Also it need more customization options regarding gameplay, VR controls and graphical stuff. There isnt for example no option to set your height or set custom location for your item holsters. The options menu is strangely light.

Having completed the game I give it a thumbs up. There were some bugs, but nothing game breaking. I was unable to grab certain items, at times, also the chest riddles didn't work, and I couldn't open them. Likewise I grabbed items out of chests without being able to lift them open, the lockers were finicky too, just stuff like that. They've optimized it enough to get through, I would like to see some more fixes. Also feel like the phaser should have more recharge stations, found lots of broken ones that if there was a mini game to fix them or if they were active would have helped. likewise had some really Iffy misses where I was dead on target and close but missed. Also some audio drop outs too toward the end. Nerve pinch was doable for most scenarios although a bit tricky with quest 3 controllers. The collector segments could be optimized as they can be very frustrating but some autosaves help.. Had some frame drops towards the end I'm sure as more is being rendered in real time now with the ship being fully accessible plus enemies respawning. There's is a lot going on all the time for a VR game really. If you support VR like I do then don't sleep on this.

게임 실행이 안된다면 컴퓨터 로그인 이름이 한글이라 게임이 인식을 못하는 것 나도 한참 실행 안돼서 한참 해매다가 영어이름으로 새로운 계정 파서 키니까 바로 실행이 됨 잠깐 해봤지만 한글번역 퀄리티는 나쁘지 않은거 같음 다만 게임내에서 캐릭터의 손가락이랑 실제 상호작용 위치가 조금 달라서 오는 불편함이 있음 그래도 계속 플레이 해볼만 한듯

game will not work, tried repeatedly, including clean install - everything updated / verified etc.. spinning wheel showing on black screen then ctd... cannot diagnose.. no response on discussion post i did about it, no (useful) advice to be found on other discussion posts about same issue others also having.. surprisingly, cracked version works though, much to my surprise.. so playing that guilt free as i paid for a license. what i have played of the game so far is dry +dull.. could change theme / graphics and call it "Generic VR game for sunday drivers".. 0 / 10 - would not trade cold pressed latinum or self sealing stem bolts for a copy of this wonky trek.
