Star Singularity

Latest update broke the game but did make it faster. I'm sure it will be good later but I started a new game and hit 2 game breaking bugs in under an hour. Not worth playing currently but hopefully soon.

I was really uncertain about this, and somehow I managed to completely mash buttons to mangle my way through the tutorial, resulting in almost completely misunderstanding the basic mechanics of the game. I persevered though, and after an hour or so I think I understood enough that I was enjoying what I was doing, even if I wasn't sure exactly what that was, or if it had any of the effects I thought it might. I enjoyed the roguelike aspects very much, the campaign links I pursued so far were simple but enjoyable, and I really wanted to find something I could pick up for an hour at lunch and feel like I'd done something in, even if that was just a couple of upgrades and clearing a sector. Sorry to not have any analysis, but for what it's worth, I've been having fun with it!

game has too much annoying text to read... if i wanted to read id read a fin book... and it crashes everytime you try to press M for the map... cant pass the beginning of the game not to mention 0 beginners guide on youtube i wonder why... stay away from this game waste of money

It's finally out! I've been waiting for this moment for so long! Seems like the developers have put a lot of hard work into this! VERY exciting, can't wait to see how the story continues from the last time I played!

Only 5 hours in as of writing this but it's enough for me to thumb it up. I can see my self playing this on and off for a long time. The developer is active and eager to help with problems/ideas if contacted and that gives me a positive vibe for the future of Star Singularity.

Really recomanded, espically if you're into top-down space games. The controls are snappy, the progression feels meaningful, and it doesn't try to be over-complicated. It’s been a while since a space sim actually felt this 'pick up and play.' Great for when you just want to shut your brain destroy those spaceships.

Well, so fare this game is fun .. it have harvesting , fighting, crafting, skill system.. Unlocks on blueprint ect and step by step developing of you character and ship and equipment.. the ship move sweet, so there is room for good ship on ship or ship on spacestation fights where you do not need to be overpowered if you just have some smooth skills :) Only thing is its not 4K friendly yet, but developer told me on a community message that within 1 week there will be GUI scaling:)
