Great 4X game. The sheer size of the worlds and events that occur make for a lot of depth and a long tail of enjoyment.
This game is great! truly 3D universe, the system is simple enough, but it still has its own complexities.
Epic scale space strategy game, its so good that some players still prefer this to the star ruler 2 which is also a good game. If you want huge scale space battles pick this one up, it has the best ones.
I really do not understand how so many people recommend this over Star Ruler II. It's lacking balance and adequate documentation. Unlike Star Ruler II, it appears more like an incomplete project.
TBH its pretty interesting for a sci-fi 4x. Because you can put engines On a planet And move it.
Been a while since I've played this type of game, thought I was getting the hang of it, after several tries. Then there's the wtf moment 4 hours into a new game I get completely wiped by an AI that attacked me with around 200 size 5000+ ships, each of which has more health than any of my planets. I couldn't have built even one of the ships, I'm done, the game simply isn't for me.
its ok
What a great soundtrack. It's kind of like Stellaris but older and with a better soundtrack. Star Ruler is like a space chick that saw EVE Online's [strike] outfit [/strike] soundtrack and said "Damn gurl that soundtrack is fire I need to copy that to attract the 4x game inclined man every space chick dreams about." and did it great because hot space chicks can pull off just about any look.
Fun little space game the ship designing is pretty fun recommend getting the galactic armoury mod to add a lot of variety to the subsystems you can get good time killer if you cant think of anything else to play.
Awful music and UI. Stay away from this game.
