Spyro™ Reignited Trilogy

Me recordó a mi infancia donde me ponía a jugar mientras mi mamá calmaba a mi padre ebrio que siempre llegaba enojado queriéndonos golpear y diciendo que éramos un error y que no servíamos para nada a pesar de que me presionaba para sacar 10 en la escuela y por eso desarrollé ansiedad. Pero gracias a Dios, el acohol hizo su trabajo y se murió por fallar renales y del hígado. Ah pero en fin, buen juego

Great remake, really captures the spirit of the old PS1 games. All the graphics look crisp and it runs lovely. Only nit pick is that the old nostalgic character models are all updated to look more "real" and much less silly than they were back in the day, the little cavepeople with bones in their hair were unrecognisable to me it was that different.

Goated childhood classic

Feels like being a kid again, I really missed these games.

Very good update to the original Spyro Trilogy. The updated graphics largely make everything look better, but some of the NPCs look worse. Definitely worth a play.

These are gorgeous remasters. I didn't get around to beating the ogs as a child so this was incredible to complete.

The difficulty feels very different from what I remember in my childhood, and unfortunately not in a good way. The game feels much more frustrating than fun at times. Gulp’s behavior is especially annoying, and some sections feel unnecessarily punishing rather than challenging in a fair way. One of the biggest issues is the aiming and hit detection. There were multiple moments where it genuinely felt like my shots should have connected, but they simply did not. Because of that, the aim assist ends up feeling unreliable and frustrating instead of helpful. It creates situations where misses do not feel like the player’s mistake, but rather a problem with the game’s mechanics. Overall, the game does not feel as smooth or enjoyable as I remembered. Instead of bringing back the fun and nostalgia from childhood, it often feels irritating because of the inconsistent difficulty, annoying enemy behavior, and questionable aiming/hit registration. I really wanted to enjoy it more, but in its current state it feels more frustrating than satisfying.

as someone who grew up with the original Spyro games on the PlayStation, i have always loved the games and this remaster does it justice great works by the devs and i hope to see how the new spyro game turns out
