Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a very fun and relaxing collection of classic platform games. The remake looks beautiful, the music is nostalgic, and the gameplay is simple and enjoyable. Spyro 1 was my favorite. It feels smooth, easy to understand, and very fun to play. Exploring the worlds, collecting gems, and freeing dragons is satisfying. It has a simple charm that makes it hard to stop playing. Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! was also great. It keeps the same fun formula but adds new mechanics and characters. The levels feel more alive, and the game is still very relaxing and enjoyable from start to finish. Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon was the one I liked the least. It is nice to play with new characters, but many of them feel slow, clunky, or not as fun as Spyro himself. Some minigames are enjoyable, but others are boring or frustrating. There are also some cool references and creative ideas, but a few levels feel annoying. It was also the game where I noticed the most bugs. Overall, this trilogy is absolutely worth playing. It is fun, charming, and perfect to pass the time. Getting 100% achievements is enjoyable and not too difficult. It is one of those games you can play for hours without noticing time passing. If you like platformers or want something light and fun, this collection is an easy recommendation.
Legendaarista tasohyppelyä uudistetuilla grafiikoilla. Mielestäni ihan kannattava pelata mikäli ei ole pelannut koskaan alkuperäisiä tai vaikka olisikin. Pääasiassa koko trilogia tarjosi oikein hyvää tasohyppelyä mutta itse pidin eniten ensimmäisestä ja kolmonen alkoi olemaan jo melko kehno lähinnä sen takia että hahmojen (muut kuin Spyro) ohjaus oli todella kankeaa. Kakkonen olisi ollut paljon parempi mikäli kentät ei olisi ollut niin pitkiä verrattuna ensimmäiseen peliin. Spyro on täydellinen peli niille joilleCrash Bandicoot on liian vaikea.
this is one of my all time favorite videogames. PLAY THIS GAME.
(This review is from someone who hasn't played the originals) These games are pretty fun and very simple. Toys for Bob did a great job updating all of the visuals while still keeping the style in tact and for a casual game these are great games to pass the time. It definitely feels like the devs were rushed as they got further along though, especially in year of the dragon. The first two games were relatively bug free and stable but when I hit the third entry my playthrough was plagued with jittering frames, janky collisions, and an overall experience that didn't feel bad, but worse than what I had seen just before.
A delightful remaster of a classic trilogy of platforming games. The redesign adds new life to games from my childhood and I'm delighted to have then on the go with the Steam Deck.
