Ce jeu est truffé de bugs. Par moments, dès le début d'un niveau, il est impossible de planer, ce qui oblige à recommencer. On se heurte constamment à des murs invisibles qui rendent les déplacements très étranges. Le deuxième boss est complètement cassé : on l'attaque 3 ou 4 fois, puis il s'arrête net et attend littéralement qu'on le tue sans réagir. De plus, j'ai subi un bug de compteur dans le hub du deuxième monde, affichant 406 cristaux sur 400. J'ai fini par abandonner au monde 3 de Spyro 2. Je ne sais pas si Spyro 3 est dans le même état, mais j'imagine que oui. Mieux vaut s'en tenir aux versions PS1 originales qui, elles, fonctionnaient parfaitement.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is pure nostalgia with a fresh coat of paint and a tiny purple menace running around like he pays rent. It’s colorful, charming, simple in the best way, and still ridiculously fun. You run around collecting gems, freeing dragons, charging into enemies, gliding across gaps you definitely misjudged, and setting things on fire because apparently that is the entire job description. The worlds are gorgeous, the music is cozy, and the gameplay has that old-school platformer feeling without being too complicated. It’s the kind of game that lets your brain relax while still giving you stuff to collect, explore, and obsessively finish because obviously we are not leaving three gems behind like animals. Spyro himself is also just a tiny attitude problem with wings, and honestly, good for him. It’s not trying to be dark or deep or emotionally devastating. It’s just a fun, bright, classic platformer where you run around being a purple little menace and collecting shiny things like a dragon-shaped raccoon. If you grew up with Spyro, this feels like opening a childhood time capsule and finding out it still breathes fire. If you didn’t, it’s still a cute, polished, easy-to-love trilogy that holds up shockingly well. Very fun. Very charming. Very “one more level” until suddenly you’re hunting for the last missing gem like it owes you money.

One of the first video games I ever played on my uncle's PS1 Playing reignited trilogy feels like the ratatouille food critic childhood flashback scene
They absolutely killed the remaster! I grew up playing Spyro on my PS1, so naturally I had to get this remaster. It plays exceptionally well, even on a lower-end system. The game looks amazing yet still retains the feel of the OG games. One thing I recommend to do is to lock the fps to 120. Anything over 120fps and Spyro will drift/slide while standing still, and it will make certain jumps extremely difficult/impossible. 120fps+ breaks the physics basically. Other than that, it’s a joy to play and really satisfying going for 100% in every game. Well worth the buy.

Played Spyro Dawn of the Dragon on PS1 20 plus years ago. Replayed it on emulators/. Played through all 3 games reignited and I[m very content.
Always a great game if your bored or offline
Spyro was probably one of the first 3D games I ever played back in the day. It feels good to be able to relive that era of fantastic collectathon platformers.
