highly nostalgic and fun so im gonna recommend it but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you sure can tell this is a console port. The MnK controls are all out of whack with no options to uninvert certain controls like with flying and vehicles but it doesnt destroy the experience you can have with the game. Definitely still possible to 100% everything without a controller if you dont have one and theyre still fun. My only other critique would be the fact that the game will DECIMATE your ears even on the lowest volume achievable through the options menu so definitely beware if playing with a headset
Spyro is a classic platformer. Any kid who owned a PS1 at the era when it came out loved it and I was one of them. I still have all three original games and I always come back to them. Almost all the Spyro sucessors have been a disappointment to me and never captured what I loved about the game so much. This is a game you can come back to and just zone out and enjoy yourself as you attempt 100%. Even though I’ve gotten 100% each time I still come back. Toys for Bob did a fantastic job upgrading this game so that a new audience can enjoy it along with the long-time fans who can now play on PC. If you are a die hard Spyro fan, lover of fun platformers, or just a collectible/achievement hunter this game is well worth the addition to your library.

Very laggy, you can't simply walk as he walks on the spot as though he is caught on an item on the ground so every time you wish to walk you have to hit jump first to then start to move. Also when you are walking and stop he keeps sliding as though he is walking on ice. Makes the game unplayable for me.
Un remasterd bien hecho visualmente y juegablemente de una trilogía que en ps1 ya era muy buena me lo compre justo unos días antes de que anunciaran el Spyro A Realm Beyond y me entraron ganas al instante de platinarme este juego su platino fue muy divertido aunque algo sencillo lo recomiendo bastante si vas a jugar Spyro por primera vez o para experimentar de nuevo esta hermosa trilogía de ps1 con gráficos mas modernizados

The most nitpicky, most annoying thing I could possibly complain about with this game is that the gems don't fly out of a chest on the loading screen and then make a tickle noise and go back into another chest. I was disapointed not to have that. But that's because I spent literal years of my life so obsessed with the original game that it permanently changed my brain chemistry. Other than that I literally have nothing! This game is amazing and clever and the style is charming as heck. I especially love the designs of the freed dragons. They're so creative and cute! The magic crafters dragons looked cool as heck! I love glowing crystal balls. I can't really speak to the gameplay because...... I mean it's an exact replica of the original!!!!! I'm nearly certain every part of it is a direct copy. I remember all of the dragons, and just about every secret I ever found in this game and it's all still there! Absolutely wild and really really cool. I'm not used to remasters actually being remasters and not remakes! I played this on the original PS1 so I'm telling you, definitely worth it!
spyro is just the absolute best, there are some glitches so please set your grafict to 60 fps but ather than that happy to relive my childhood <3
