I love indie games. I love spooky stuff. The overall opinion I have is that this pack of games is worth the $4. I initially bought it just for Wishing Sarah, as I played Dreaming Sarah and really enjoyed it, and WS is the sequel. Since it was in fact so short and took me less than an hour to beat, I decided to give some of the other games a go. I have NOT played them all yet, but here's how I feel about each so far: Wishing Sarah - makes sense if you play Dreaming Sarah first, which you should because it's a great little indie game. (Disclaimer: Dreaming Sarah is a totally different art style, longer, and has a lot more going on overall, it is not like Wishing Sarah) WS is super simple, easy puzzles, and looks like old Pokemon games. Pretty cool. I'm eagerly awaiting Awakening Sarah and hoping it's longer than this was. Also, I loved all the pigeon facts I got throughout the game. Spooky Cooking - The name is a tad misleading, you're not cooking anything. Just pressing space bar or left clicking to shoot pumpkins into a cauldron. It seems almost like it would be better suited as a mobile game, but it's not terrible. Cute little spooky game if you want something more mindless and just to kill time. Actually, it kinda reminds me of a game you would play on Neopets in the Haunted Woods. I wish that most of the achievements were not from this game because I doubt I'll play it enough to get them all, but it is what it is. Killing Moon - hot garbage. I hated this. The game itself has a lot of issues, like maneuvering your character by clicking and having it not work, and the fact that it is poorly/not fully translated, among others. It didn't have a real sense of direction honestly, and it just was not enjoyable. The only thing I even remotely liked about it was all the references, like Jay and Silent Bob (or Bob Silencio, as the game had him named). Side note, the game starts out with a warning about "disturbing" images, but the sort of retro pixel-y art style makes it not so disturbing. Spookids - FUN! Not overly challenging, but super fun and has an awesome art style, plus the 4 character options are all so cute. I have only played it alone so far, but I think it would be really fun to play with another person. Curse Bringer - Lame. Kinda pointless. It was just a few minutes of reading, you barely make "choices". Oh well. Thursday the 12th - Very short, but funny. The kids love it! Cosmic Rain - Not bad, but I do get tired of playing it pretty quick. Sort blobs, try not to get hit by weird pumpkin dude. It's cute and the music is nice too. Definitely not the worst game in this pack, but not the best. A really good medium. Tower of 100 Floors - Fun, but surprisingly difficult! Reminds me of Journey of the Prairie King from Stardew, but with mixed with the dungeons. Also, I absolutely love the graphics. Definitely one of the better games in this pack. The only game I haven't tried is Worship the Demon Lord With Friends, because it is meant to be played with a second person. I might try it solo, but other reviews say it is not as fun to do so. Guess we'll see, and maybe I will update my review later to reflect. Overall, it is a pretty neat game pack. I think any indie gamer or fan of spooky stuff could get something out of this, and for $4 it is a lot more than I expected. I am glad I purchased it.

WARNING: The achievements are broken for one of the games (Tower of 100 Floors), so keep that in mind if you care about 100% completion. This bundle has some hidden gems in it, namely 'Spookids' and 'Tower of 100 Floors.' In my opinion, it's worth getting just for those two, especially if you have a friend to play with. I also enjoyed 'Thursday the 12th' for its charming art and humor, as well as 'Killing Moon' for its tense atmosphere and shocking gore. 'Spooky Cooking' has a fine idea, but doesn't do enough with it. It would be much better if it had more enemies, more power-ups, and an online leaderboard. It was somewhat satisfying to get into a rhythm while going for a high score though. 'Wishing Sarah' had some intriguing moments, but was otherwise kind of boring. (And who was the real killer?!?) 'Cosmic Rain' was alright in concept, but got annoying in the later levels due to an enemy that constantly destroys your blobs. If there was no time limit, this mechanic wouldn't be nearly as offensive. 'Worship the Demon Lord' was quite buggy from the few levels I tried, so I stopped playing it. I quit 'Curse Bringer' within the first 30 seconds because it was running at like 450 fps on my computer for some reason, with no option to lock the framerate. It's fine because I don't really care for text adventures anyway.
A collection of some short but fun Halloween-based video games. Some of them aren't as good as others, but some of them are real gems. I have to absolutely recommend "Spookids," which feels like a classic Genesis-based adventure game. This is definitely a fun way to kill some time.
