Spirit of the North 2

i love fox :D this game is very pretty and cozy <3

Story wise, just as beautiful as the original. If you liked Spirit of the North 1, This is a MUST play! If you haven't, What are you doing?! Go play the first one and come play the second! Visually, the game has vastly improved over the first game. There are new puzzles that are more challenging than the first game, plus a few sections of combat! Don't worry, most of the game is still just a fox exploring the ruins of the world like the original, but now there is more lore and a fight to save the other spirit animals! The gameplay is quite fun, and at times quite challenging, in a good way. My only 2 issues: Sometimes dear foxxo gets stuck on just going up stairs. Like some of the collision boxes for the stairs weren't set right. Not every set of stairs has this issue, but the one that REALLY needs to be fixed is in the Palace of Peace. I died during an encounter there so many times just to getting stuck on the stairs. Secondly, Sometimes when close to an edge of a platform where a running jump is required, the game does not register that I pressed the jump button. 2 simple issues, most likely with simple fixes, but I can't really complain too much, as they did not ruin the game experience for me. PS: Thank you SO much devs for the touching memorial for Mikayla Raines of SaveAFox and including Finnegan Fox as an interactable critter. For those of you who don't know about the memorial in game. It's near the ruins of the fox village, search up the short cliffs on the opposite side of the path. If you've already missed it, don't worry, you can go explore the area again later!

На самом деле если понять эту игру и то грубо говоря как в нее играть, то она чудесна и невероятно атмосферна) Хотелось бы конечно более доработанную версию, баги и в некоторых местах, провалы сквозь текстуры, но за все почти 40 часов игры, это случалось крайне редко. В общем и целом я очень рекомендую игру, эмоции она дарит классные) Отдельный плюс выделю, это кастомизация лисички)

I really enjoyed the first game and i decided to play the second game. I can see it made a huge progress and became a more story-driven open-world puzzle adventure about a fallen world corrupted by the shaman Grimnir, where my fox, which i could customize and name, is one of the animal guardians trying to cleanse the other animal guardians of each region and save the world by defeating and cleansing Grimnir´s spirit. With the lore scrolls i collect i understand the lore way better than in the first game. The game has similar game mechanics with some upgrades, such as runes that give the certain abilities, more types of puzzles and a raven friend, thanks to which my fox can glide and climb way easier. I really like the freedom of exploration and customization, including collecting various furs, eye colors, essences. The raccoon merchants also have lots of useful things to sell in their grotto shops. And the fox dens are always cozy and pleasant places to stay and rest. The story itself is pretty touching with a beautiful end message: Never give in, though the darkness be endless. Take up your mantle, as the night gathers deep. Peace yet awaits the lost and the helpless. Awake, guardian of light, though the world be asleep. When i think about this message, it´s something i needed to hear the whole tough season that recently ended. Especially in the darkest times we wanna give up, but we gotta keep going. If we continue, a new and a better chapter of our lives will come. Nothing is eternal, even the struggles. They will be gone. I wanna thank the dev team for creating this wonderful game. Right now, i will continue exploring the world freely and doing some side quest + achievement tasks. P.S.: I´m glad i could support the real foxes and the other animals of Save a fox by playing and buying the dlc :) + foxes are my favourite animal species, but i love all of them :3

Great, but the performance isnt the best

I really like how they shifted the adventure aspect of the game to an open-world style, it really gives the existing place and story purpose. I loved exploring the island and just solving riddles and puzzles along the story. The shift of wisps and freeing trapped souls is way more intuitive than it was. I LOVE the fact that you can customize your fox's appearance with items you collect as you explore, that as well gave me more inspiration to explore everything Really recommending after the first one!!

I really liked how the fox sounds more like a fox and not a dog and I really enjoy being able to have more magic against the illness or something like that (I forgot what it was called). and I really like how we can do more then the first game. I think its really cool how they call the Spirit orbs a wisp. and its very pretty as well

Absolutely LOVED this game. Still do. It's scenic, it's large, its fun. Less of a challenge and more of a vibe.

Это шедевр. Stray, Gris, теперь - Spirit of the North. Первая часть была для разогрева, а уже во второй и геймплей и сюжет подоспели. Игру ещё не прошёл, но однозначно рекомендую всем, кто ценит атмосферу и красивые пейзажи в играх.
