About
Enter into a world thick with bubbling psychedelia. Descend deep into a new ecology teeming with multiple pathways, luminous levels, and complex obstacles. Transcend the material realm and assume your true form as Spinch, a hyper-agile organism consumed by the quest to rescue its litter of missing offspring from an endless invasion of misshapen and malformed offbeats and oddities.
Bringing back old school difficulty, Spinch will have you replaying sections until you master your timing and reflexes. Dash, dodge, climb, swim, jump, and even shoot your own babies as you take on six enigmatic bosses in six vibrant worlds. Collect items to give you the upperhand while searching for your missing babies. Be on the lookout for your cousin - he's babysitting some of your relatives, but he's a little weird. With only a ticking clock and quick restarts - no lives or game overs - the game is welcoming to players of all experiences, but a formidable challenge to even the most capable of speedrunners.
The world of Spinch has been crafted and brought to life by talented award-winning Canadian cartoonist, Jesse Jacobs, known for his precise and detailed line work in combination with bold and simple color palettes. His works contain an affiliation with psychedelia, spirituality, alternate realities, and a blending of nature with technology. James Kirkpatrick, well known for his participation in the early Canadian graffiti movement and as avant-garde hip-hop artist, Thesis Sahib, created the audio landscape of retro soundbites and electronic sounds found within Spinch.

Opinions may differ, but I really like this game. Great collision detection, awesome style, and catchy music. If you like colorful games, you should definitely give this one a try.
i cant believe these graphics are real. the mechanics and platforming are cool too. levels have a vibe to them that is very unique and "cha cha". i like.
五年了,还在更新,热情好评。游戏本身质量也可,画风独特;非质量入库几要素也有,可以推荐。 we need Ach have cn too. 我们需要成就也有中文。 202401,steam,steam掉卡抵扣,它处自定义包入的本体约6元。爱人如己,目前就这,看以后追评。
World 5 I find actually impossible with the upside down section being a jank mess. Jumping while upside down is slower and more prone to errors. The monster following behind you is too fast and speeds up when losing sight of you while you have to dodge the glowing hit boxes on the floor that are perfectly spaced for you to land on and take damage.
Maybe if it was free it would be more of a shout, but paying money for this game is just diabolical, down right horrendous. You could buy any other game... Literally most games would be more of a game / more enjoyable than this but it is just lowkey addictive for a 2d game.. but also infuriating (heartbreak emoji fr (for real)). The bosses are ong (on god) horrendous, it's just practically the same thing every time (exhale emoji fr) Some of the mechanics be acting goofy too. The achievements soooo do not work if anybody cares about that. Also would sooo not recommend if you have that epilepsy / or if you're blind. Playing deaf would make this game 10 times better though as the music highkey dreadful. Might also trip people out who are on LSD. After repeating the same levels from fumbling the game too much I realised I could literalleh just be playin elder scrolls, or not playin anything and be having such a fun time. Even a choccy milk. Oh my gosh I really want a choccy milk right now. I am going to get one, though I left it in the freezer yesterday so I hope that does not affect it now that it has unfrozen (idk (I don't know) choccy milk / milk freeze to unfreeze mechanics fr).
I really like the art in this game, the sound effects and music really sell the hyper psychedelic dreamscape setting they've got going. I think it's worth recommending on those grounds just because of how original it is. The platforming is really fun too, with a steady difficult curve that really captures that old-school platformer gameplay. I'm still working through this one, but I'd highly recommended. It's sad to see this game so unpopular, it's definitely weird but it's underrated in my opinion. Oh, also this runs great on the Steamdeck.
I really love the visuals and the soundtrack, but I ultimately can't recommend it because the game is broken. So many bugs that I was able to play around, but literally couldn't finish the last, pre-boss level because of one. I've seen this bug reported years ago, so it's not that they don't know it exists, it's that they have chosen not to fix it.

besides the trippy colors, theres nothing special about the game, its just a boring jump n run. dont like it, will remove it from my account, i wasted my money.
