SPIDER MALL ! is a survival horror FMV game with a lost-tape style. You play as a guy who decides to explore an abandoned shopping mall. At first, the biggest danger seems to be running into security guards, but as you go deeper, it becomes clear that something much scarier is lurking there. The game has multiple endings based on your choices, which makes it fun to replay. You can also skip scenes by pressing the spacebar, making replays quicker. The actors do a good job, and the location looks absolutely amazing and terrifying. The only downside is the CGI spider - it looks silly, like a "big spider green screen" video from YouTube. I think the game would feel more immersive if they had used someone in a spider costume or another type of monster suit. Overall, the game is very good. As a fan of analog horror and lost-tape videos, I enjoyed it a lot, and I think anyone who likes these types of stories will too. I thought that this was very funny and even though I wanted to slog through to get full completion, the acting was just so charming and funny that I didn't really care.
Бюджет игры - пачка кириешек
Short and fun FMV. Some choices seems like ''do this'' or ''do this'' and they lead to same result. But overall 5/5 would get scared of spiders once again. Good game for those going all 100% achievements, takes like 2 hours to get all. Good way to start good ol horror month, also known as october. Still wanna know why Moose is called Moose. Such a cliffhanger
*SPOILERS* Introducing Spider Mall, the horror experience you didn’t ask for but will absolutely play anyway. Step into the abandoned mall with Explorer X, who was supposed to be urban exploring but quickly realizes he’s doing all the heavy lifting—literally. Mick? Mick is helpful, sure, but only in the way that your friend who claims they’re assisting you while moving, and spends all their time "supervising" and holding the clipboard. He’s got plenty of guidance, but all the running, hiding, and spider-evading? That’s on X. Meanwhile, the security guards are just doing their jobs, making sure no trespassers ruin the mall’s already questionable structural integrity. And the giant spider? A masterpiece of CGI so baffling that it moves like it’s struggling to exist, lunging at you with the enthusiasm of an animatronic in permanent demo mode. Pick up Spider Mall today and get: - A mall filled with turns, twists, and legally questionable decisions - Mick, who is technically helpful but conveniently avoids all physical danger - A spider that looks like it was rendered on a deadline and refuses to behave properly It’s eerie, it’s ridiculous, and you’re going to play it—because curiosity wins every time. Brought to you by: Soylent Green "It's people!"
Careful what choices you choose of it could lead to those around you falling to their own demise. Or, even worse, closer to the spider! I'll admit though the model of the spider did look out of place, and might look a little clunky. But the actors themselves still did a splendid job! Overall a very fun FMV game from an indie team!
this game is fun. im serprised they used real footage while making choises. this game is 9/10 in my books. i recommend this game.
I LOVED the style of this game. It's so much fun, you get easily lost in it the more you play because it's addicting and I really enjoyed the acting! Music was great, the VHS filter looked awesome, it felt like a real found footage horror movie most of the time. I liked the choices too, it makes you want to replay the game. 9/10!
Good laugh that killed an hour. Hope they do a second one.
