About
Stars shine for a very long time, but not forever. They break, burn out, and require maintenance. In this episode of the game, you'll need to maintain and return a star that has stopped working properly to the sky. The spirits of Water, Fire, Darkness, Air, and Earth will help you with this.
The game features new game mechanics and a new bonus game! Read the Help Book to understand how the new game mechanics work.
The game has
- 90 new Match 3 levels
- a town ( or a Star service Station ) to built
- 20 bonus levels of a new type
- 8 Spot the difference scenes

As a longtime veteran of the entire Spellarium series plus all the other M3-puzzle series LGT SIA makes, I enjoyed this one because it's so different. However, it's also the hardest Spellarium game to date with the new mechanics and having to create match setups strategically. If you were getting sort of bored with so many games and them not being all that challenging, you'll like having to use your gray matter this time around. But if you simply wanted more new levels in the same vein as the earlier games, might not be your thing. There are 90 regular levels, and considerably less minigames now. There are still 10 jigsaw puzzles and 8 spot the difference scenes, but a new game of 20 stationary Tetris-type levels of collecting coins by dropping pieces in such that 3 or more of a tile match up. While I still think there could be a few less minigames, at least this Spellarium feels like a M3 game and not a mixed-genre collection, and the new Tetris games have you playing M3 in a different style as a refreshing change. While I didn't struggle with figuring out the new mechanics, I've read elsewhere of others getting really stumped, which means the new widgets could be quite short-lived in terms of being used again in the future. Personally, I don't understand the pricing for the game here at Steam. If you have most/all of the previous installments, would recommend buying the Spellarium bundle.
