PLEASE NOTE
Spell Casting is free because it was made in 2016 using Construct 2 and I am no longer supporting the game. If it run and you can play it, great, but there is no need to submit any bug reports anymore as I cannot fix it.
Test your dexterity, memory, and patience in this casual spell-drawing indie game.
.Story. You’re a cat who wants nothing more than to be a wizard. Unfortunately, the wizard academy is much too far away for you to attend. You’re in luck, little kitty, for you receive a package in the mail for distanced learning of the magical arts. Your training begins with spell books. .Gameplay. Your mouse is the only thing you need to play Spell Casting as you’ll be using it to draw various shapes. If you have a drawing tablet, this makes that task much more doable. The game is divided into spell books, each of which allows you to practice a number of spells until you’re satisfied that you can remember how to draw them. Each practice will show you where to begin (open circle) and end (closed circle) the spell as well as give you a written cue that will hopefully spark your memory later. And you’d better be confident because once you start the exam, which is unlocked once you’ve completed each practice with any score, you’ll be expected to recall and accurately draw each shape in a random order. This can get quite challenging as you have to draw the shape from the same starting point that you learned earlier, lest your wizard cat chastise you with an “ah-ah!” and screen shake that can be made more or less intense in the options menu. After you’ve passed the exam without too many errors (you only need a three star rating in order to pass each shape), you unlock the next book and move on to the next set of spells. .Atmosphere. The music is the same track set on a loop, so it’s not all that impressive. The majority of the game’s charm comes from the cutesy doodles that look strangely familiar and the accompanying text. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=757047320 .Longevity. The game will take you a couple of hours to beat at max. There’s no real reason to replay anything except to get a perfect score, though you will get achievements for your efforts. .Pros and Cons.

Cutesy, humorous pop culture references.
A variety of shapes. The game starts you off simple with lines, curves, and swirls, and then quickly ramps it up to Sauron’s Eye, Keyblades, and other familiar nerd-dom references.
The doodles in the pages of the book are fun to look at. They keep your spirits upbeat while you grit your teeth because you can’t remember where the next spell begins.
Even if you practice some of the more complicated shapes several times, it’s still difficult to remember exactly how to draw them. This will be a deal breaker for some people who have less than stellar memories.
The game is quite short.
The sound (“ah-ah!”) your cat wizard makes when you make a mistake will drive you insane.
.Bottom Line. Spell Casting: Meowgically Enhanced Edition is a casual and charming experience and worth a buy for the nerd-dom references alone. If you’re the artsy type and you’re looking for a way to kill some time, this title is worth a look. If you’re not the coordinated or patient type, however, I’d advise you to steer clear. https://youtu.be/StjuBxIdooE Delightfully charming art and style overflows on every page of this gesture based spell casting game. Learn the motions for various spells and pass proficiency tests in order to progress. This generally enjoyable experience is quickly diminished into frustration when lines start to touch or cross over themselves. The game only recognizes one correct path to trace which leaves the player guessing at every corner restarting constantly to learn the one true path. This memorization tedium strips all the magic out of playing this game.

Zapraszam do obserwacji naszego kuratora: ŚWIAT RECENZJI

A Line Drawing Puzzle Game
https://youtu.be/_bDl8CeOVls + Very unique gameplay where you essentially try to trace over various drawings by drawing a line with your mouse. You are then scored on how well you stayed within the lines, and how quickly you drew the line. Afterwards you complete an exam where you have to draw each picture from memory with only a few hints. + In my opinion the best part about this game is all the amusing background drawings and text filled with various comical video game, tv show, movie, and other references that many will immedietely pick up on. (My favs were DBZ and Adventure Time) + Surprisingly Challenging, it's actually quite difficult to draw straight lines with a mouse, especially if you have high sensitivity, and even more so when you have to draw the pictures from memory during the exams. ~ Personally, I felt a bit frustrated with the "exam" sections which turn into a "memory game" where you have to draw every line from practice but without the background picture. These can be pretty difficult as you don't have any lines to reference off of.

Eventhough Steam only marks my playtime of 0.3h, I have finished the game offline. I'm studying to be a teacher in the future, and that game would be very good to improve the children psychomotricity and skill with the mouse. The gameplay is simple: You are a cat whose desire is to be able to do magic, and you get magic books you have to complete. The more you play, the more difficult they are. The games also needs some memory because of the examination part. To sum up, I recommend all of you to play the game if you have the chance, the developer has done a good work! P.S. The puns and references in the game are awesome :D
Game with a lot of charm and a huge heart. My favorite part is humorous sketches accompanying every spell gesture you learn. The paths you have to recognize and draw can provide quite a challenging mental exercise to anyone who doesn't pay enough attention, which my brain is now thankful for. Highly recommend to get it right meow if you'd like to test your memory and coordination skills!
https://youtu.be/iqRt9Ww63rI This is a really nice, well made, funny game full of references. It is a kid-friendly game, but super super challenging in the later books. You must trace spells out - fast and accurately, to gain stars. If you master all of the practice, you can soon start taking tests which are even more challenging. I love the halloween update as well - adding more puzzles and spells to the game.
I've been following the development of this delightful game since its first Android version: this new "Meowgically Enhanced" edition is great, full of funny references to cartoons and popular games. My little daughter is enjoying it a lot but don't be fooled: the game gets harder and harder, some puzzles will really test your patience! Very recommended! <3
