About

You are a spectator, working remotely to monitor a CCTV system for suspicious activity. However ordinary the places you monitor might seem, they are sites of paranormal phenomena. Your job is not just to watch, but to identify anomalies that happen and apply the proper countermeasures. Be cautious: Whatever lurks out there will eventually notice it's being watched - and when it starts staring back, it might be too late...

Set in unsettling, everyday places, Spectator taps into the chilling world of creepypasta, drawing inspiration from stories like Slender and the Backrooms to create a deeply disturbing, eerie experience that keeps shifting just when you think you're safe.
Six distinct environments to monitor and observe. Each level can have over sixty different anomalies, generated procedurally to guarantee unpredictability.
Every playthrough is uniquely challenging and scary. Miss too many of the anomalies before 6 AM comes around and whatever's out there will come for you.
Spectator supports ultra-wide screen resolutions, touchscreens, and controllers out of the box, complete with a realistic visual style to enhance the experience.
Community translations were integrated into the game, allowing Spectator to support over 29 languages!

Very boring
It's fun. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, and the spooky things that weren't always jump scares but sometimes just a thing being different from one view to the next. I really got a kick out of finding the one small detail I'd been missing previously.
unbelievably dull once you have it figured out, and it doesn't take too long to figure it out. While I was playing it a friend downloaded a different game of this type that was completely free, and when we took a break to play that we had a much better time. Unity assets and crappy AI art as far as the eye can see, this thing is slop, plain and simple
Really well made game, imo. There are definitely moments where I'm overwhelmed with trying to remember what buttons to press for which anomalies but as you repeat the levels you start to remember and recognize them :3 Hefty learning curve.
Dieses Spiel ist mega. Die Maps sind top und lehnen an verschiedenste Spiele an. Schade das man das Spiel nicht im Multiplayer genießen kann.
This game is chill and its a nice change of pace. Im constantly running in scary games. Runs well on steam deck with controller set to keyboard and mouse. The proton I am using is hotfix. Nice idea and concept. Still adding more hours but im enjoying it.
Horror-themed spot-the-difference game. Possibly the best clone of Observation Duty. I enjoy it a lot.. No extremely obnoxious jump scares, unlike many of the genre.
