Engaging story and optimised gameplay: 8/10, Seeing Dubai get annihilated: 100/10.
wild that this is now practically a lost media, no shooter games today ever come close to this masterpiece at least to my knowledge, this game was so ahead of its time.
Oynayıp oynayıp unutulan bomboş call of duty tarzı shooterlardan sıkıldıysanız mutlaka deneyin.. Yıllardır oynamadığıma ben çok pişman oldum. 10/10

What they tried to do in this game doesn't always work, but overall they delivered an excellent game with strong critiques of Americain imperialism and war in general. While the graphics aren't exceptional, the art team did a great job. Fighting through the despoiled opulence of Dubai as your characters are transformed, inside and out, works perfectly. I'm a sucker for the player model changing a la Batman Arkham Asylum, and Walker looks, acts, and sounds like a different man at the end of the game. The story is great, although if you look too close you'll start to notice some parts that don't quite work or don't make sense. The sniper choice scene in particular becomes a problem given the ending of the game. And the "explain the plot" ending with flashback scenes is lame. But the main thrust of the story, that charging ahead with good intentions in one hand isn't enough when violence is in the other, works great. Sometimes you have to walk away, Walker. The game is a lot more fun than I remember it being when I played it years ago. I really recommend playing on the higher difficulties (don't be afraid to reduce the difficulty though according to your taste.) You are a lot more fragile and reliant on your squad, which makes both for a stronger narrative and more tactical gameplay as you use all your available tools to drag yourself past the finish line. On Steamdeck I had sound stop working a couple times and long load times in the main menu as the game tries to call home to long dead servers. The game also generates a crash report everytime you close the game which has to be canceled as the receive address no longer works. But other than that the game works fine.

¡100% recomendado!

Required reading for all fans of Call of Duty.
Overall, it's a pretty good corridor shooter. The story and gameplay are top-notch, with different enemy types, a variety of weapons, beautiful city views, and perhaps most importantly, the ending you get depends on your decisions. For me, the game isn't without its flaws: I got stuck in sand textures a couple of times, which is basically a death sentence on the hardest difficulty. The cover movement system is also poorly implemented; sometimes, instead of moving from cover to cover, the character might just stand there. Finally, I'd like to mention the rather small number of safepoints. My rating: ✭✭✭✭✰
I had always seen this game being recommended by many gamers, I was fortunate enough to buy it some months before delisting in a steam sale. It was in my backlog for looong time until today, I finished this game in 3 days. The game is short but extremely heavy on the story with many plot twists. It shows the face of war that no other shooter even dares too. I won't spoil it for you, if you have this game, just PLAY IT.
