Fast paced, fun survival game. Was with it since Gamejolt :)
This is a great game to play for an hour or two at a time. It's a mix of a shooter and tower defender, storyline is quite short, I find the final mission quite enjoyable and the challenges will keep you occupied for quite some time. You can always try the demo first if you're not sure about buying it, certainly worth the ten bucks since it's packed with action
https://youtu.be/lH081hU1Sp4 This game is super fun, quite challenging (though it does have another mode to make it a bit easier) and tons of aliens. The graphics and story are quite charming. I like the interaction between characters and switching rooms to fight aliens in different rooms at the same time add quite the twist on the game!
You've never seen anything like this! Spacejacked is a incredibly polished, fast-paced and challenging experience that mixes elements of 2D platforming, tower defense with a great strategic layer built above it. Every choice matters in the game, and you would be making important decisions on what to build and not to build as your resources carry on to your next mission/day. On a micro level, you will see yourself frantically managing your towers, reading enemy patterns, repairing your base. The graphics are really slick and smooth too! This is one of the freshest and most innovative game that has come out from the indie community, which has seen a lack of creativity in recent years. Support the devs!
This game is tons of fun! Fast paced tower defense and a whole entire side scroling shooter as well as a mini game. Totally worth your time and money!
A ideia do jogo é legal. Recomendo pela criatividade do desenvolvedor. Irei jogar mais? Não! R$7,99 jogado fora. Não compraria novamente. Duvidas? a disposição.
A nice combo between shooter and tower defense. Like Kingdom Rush in some aspects, although with a space theme and a 2D side view.
Fast-paced platform tower defence. Quite addictive. Comes with story mode and challenge mode. Simple but really good concept. 10/10
Short overview of game, full review and even an interview with one of the developers is available through links on bottom: I original played this game pre-release, sort of just getting a feel for it. It was an overall fun and challanging experience. Spacejacked's fast paced tower defense gameplay makes the game require speed and brains to set up defenses agaisnt alien invaders. The game has easy controls and supports both mouse and keyboard, as well as game controllers. The game supports a good amount of content with currently three playable modes and three turrets with different defenses. More content is on the way, as well as development of a PS4 port. pros : - fast, fun, challenging game play - good music - fun, meaningful mini game - easy controls and support for keyboard, mouse, and contollers - Pixel art with retro feel - More content (modes, more turrets) in the works Cons: - difficulty issues in second half of game (currently being looked at by developers) - Good music, but not a wide selection - Only three turret types currently (more on the way) If you would like a more extensive review, you can check out: http://www.thegamerholics.com/killing-alien-scum-spacejacked-review/ For an interview with the developers regarding their plans for the game and more checkout: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8R_EmQwvzxE
Spackjacked is a turret-building tower defense game with the simpliciity of games like Super Crate Box. I wish there were more towers and upgrades that changed more than damage and firerate, but I still have to recommend this game because it's a good bit of casual tower defense fun.
