I really wanted to like this game; I'm a big fan of the base building/automation genre. There IS a novel mechanic in that your base is on an island that travels around (you build and control the engines) rather than being fixed in place, which was neat. Unfortunately, while it looks similar to Mindustry or Factorio at first, the shallow trees, exponentially-increasing costs for each copy of the same building (like mining drill), and near total automation of supply chains and technology (buildings require just one input and produce one output, main storage is basically infinite, and inputs can typically teleport from storage to building) make it more like an idle clicker... except that you can't -quite- go idle due to enemies, so it's actually the strategic depth of an idle clicker paired with the relaxation of facing a zombie horde unarmed.
This is an idle game in its current form. It has base building and automation elements but honestly the idle elements are extremely forefront and primary to the game's function.

Most factory/automation games work hard to encourage and discourage certain player habits. In particular, they try to discourage players from sitting around waiting for numbers to go up. They do so for a reason.
For a prologue the game seems very fun at the moment. It has a lot of aspects that remind me of other games as well as making it unique on its own. Would definitely buy the full game when it's released. The only thing I can say needs work is the settings menu. My resolution is 1920x1080 and the text is very small and hard to read, almost unreadable in some cases. Other than that, great game sofar.
Simple in its current state, but fun. Looking forward to what becomes of it. I played it until the FPS fell to about 1. It's the only reason I quit playing; I'd just keep playing it otherwise.
Firstly, this is a really great addition to the idle genre, and deserves to be rated up and all the love it can get. But there are some issues i ran into very quickly: -Unskippable tutorial -Tutorial being vague and uninformative (Upgrade the foundry! took me a while to realise that upgrades is it's own seperate button that isn't actually linked to a building, despite the tutorial telling me to click the foundry) -Exponential costs made it so i wasted MANY resources without realising as there is no refund system -Enemies constantly attacking despite being unable to afford 2nd turret (see previous point) -Having a tutorial for conveyor belts... before you can even build them
Actually very underrated, the game is pretty fun dev: trying sending this to youtubers? is there going to be a full version? too bad I can't wishlist the full version I can't find it
