I bought the game in hopes that there would be more implemented from the previous gamers review. Unfortunately that was not to be had. The mapping system has enough issues where I could not even find the end point of the first mission. I do think that the game is very nice looking and I like the feel of it. But I could also not recommend this game with its current development status.

A laughably basic mess is all this will ever be. It had promise at launch, wrangling asteroids and towing them back to base to rake in a bit of cash and upgrade your ship. Other "careers" to follow throughout Early Access development, etc. Buuut none of that ever happened, after a couple small updates the developer bailed, came back a lil while later to say sorry and totally resume work, then he bailed for good. At present all you can do is zoom around in a basic ship while trying to hunt down assigned asteroids whose coordinates are utter gibberish. You might find that rock, you might not. There is nothing else out there aside from you and a few stations. It's pretty boring. Achievement hunters note the only way to unlock the one included is via SAM or something similar. That's right, the developer was too lazy to even add the trigger for a "start the game" achievement lol.

Abandoned in 2018, nothing to see here. Take your 99 cents and go buy some french fries, 1000% more satisfying than this steamy heap.....

Space Wrangler ist ein von Bad Panda Games entwickeltes Weltraum-Flugspiel, in dem man anscheinend irgendwelche Asteroiden zu einer Station bringen soll. Es ist noch im Early-Access und kostet im Vollpreis 0,79€. Umfang: Da ich durch die unfassbar geile Erklärung, wie man in dem Spiel vorgeht, kaum was gerafft habe, außer dass man Asteroiden irgendwo hinziehen muss, kann ich nicht richtig auf den Umfang eingehen. Ich habe bis jetzt aber nur mitbekommen, dass man Asteroiden irgendwo hinziehen muss. Sei es in der Nähe der Erde, des Sonnensystems oder der Milchstraße. Grafik: Die Grafik ist eher so semi-geil. Die Asteroiden sind viel zu hell und der Schatten ist irgendwie... unrealistisch. Die Weltraumstationen sehen ganz OK aus. Ich muss aber zugeben, dass das allgemeine Interface doch recht gut aussieht und schön auf das Spiel angepasst ist. Spielspaß: Wie schon oben gesagt, wird einem das Spiel gar nicht erklärt. Man wird reingeworfen und bekommt eine Aufgabe: Asteroiden sammeln. Es klingt leicht, ABER NICHT WENN SICH GOTTVERDAMMT NOCHMAL DIE KOORDINATEN ALLE 30 SEKUNDEN ÄNDERN, SODASS MAN IMMER EINEN ANDEREN ASTEROIDEN NEHMEN MUSS. Man bekommt auch nicht das Ziel angezigt, wo man die Asteroiden hinliefern soll. Das Raumschiff lässt sich zudem noch sehr schwammig steuern und macht ab und zu einen auf F-16 Flugshow. Musik: Ich weiß nicht warum man Country-Musik in ein Weltraumspiel einbaut. Das passt meiner Meinung nach irgendwie gar nicht. Sound: Wenn man das Raumschiff steuert und vorallem beschleunigt ändern sich die Töne, bei denen man klar erkennt, wenn man schneller oder langsamer ist. Sonst gibt es keine großen SFX, was ich sehr schade finde (auch wenn sich im Weltraum keine Schallwellen ausbreiten. Man spielt aber sozusagen innerhalb eines Raumschiffs, also sollte man normalerweise mehr Geräusche hören.) Fazit: Das Spiel ist ja mal so gar nicht ausgereift. Die Grafik ist schlecht, die Musik passt nicht und die Physik ist auch für'n Poppes. Ist nicht mal die 0,79€ wert. Auch kostenlos wäre es ein absoluter Reinfall.
