didnt expect this game to be as fun as it is, from genuinly getting excited over big turn overs and audibly mad at times after loosing everything after some baby has the most misserable life possible....

tried to short my baby and i lost 100k, greatest game i've ever played, 10/10

SHORT THAT BABY

This is a hard game to recommend to anyone that doesn't understand the math that goes into speculative markets and finance. This is more of a puzzle game where you have to figure out on your own where your edges are and what information is actually valuable. It is also very much a push your luck game where your hubris ends up hurting in the long run. The game is pretty funny, but I do wish there was more to analyze or information to sink your teeth into.

I don't know what they're talking about, man. Woohoo Charlie comes in clutch. I learned a horrifying amount about speculative economics. It was a lot of fun. I also found myself staring out the window, depressed about the joke of our society, because very few things in this game is actually parody. Also, there's a lot of people here who say it's just completely random. It isn't, and they believe this because I imagine they gambled a mere one or two babies. You are given context clues by things like side bets (which even when they don't pay off are generally close) and information from consultants you can interpret and use to your advantage. Sure, you can also just gamble blindly, but even the cruelest scenarios don't give you NOTHING to work with.
