I'm not sure whether my favourite part of this game is the stolen art assets, the 10 second loop of music within starbases, or the barely-there gameplay. Avoid. P.S: It's probably the textbox on Zach telling me that refunds are not "guaranetted"
Space Flowers is bad... like, really bad. It's essentially a kind of "space trader" ripoff of Star Control 2 and Elite where you control a spaceship in a 2D top down "SpaceWar!/Asteroids" manner and buy and sell flowers between different spaceports. It's completely unclear why there's a girly/flowers theme for this otherwise science-fiction themed game, but I can tell you one thing, it does not "work" thematically. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. This really is junk and the worst thing is it's not even free. But The Ur-Quan Masters is free, it's an open source, community updated version of Star Control 2, and thoroughly worth playing through despite the age of it. So if you really want to play this kind of game, that's the best choice.
Charming graphics, simplistic gameplay, but whatever's here does, technically, function, which is more than I can say for some games in this class.
