About
Space Engineers is an open world sandbox game about designing, building and testing your own space machines. Construct ships, stations and planetary bases in a fully destructible environment, then explore planets and space, mine resources, survive hazards and engage in combat alone or with friends in Creative or Survival modes.
Play solo or in multiplayer, from small co-op outposts to huge community servers. Start with a simple lander, grow into a mining and industrial empire, or focus on warships and planetary fortresses – the game gives you the tools and physics, you decide what to build.
Space Engineers uses a volumetric physics engine: every block and voxel has mass, inertia and damage. Ships break apart, stations crumble and terrain can be drilled, carved and reshaped, so your engineering choices really matter.
Space Engineers is grounded in real engineering and hard science fiction, driven by realism and plausible near-future technology. Think modern space programs extrapolated into the future: realistic ships, stations, tools and systems where everything is built and simulated block by block. It’s about the machinery you build, not about magic or scripted set-pieces.

i love being able to explore space with my friends
Its alright
Just be creative and the game is not limited to any rules
simple, creativo y destructivo igual perfecto
fun game, takes a bit to learn but very fun once you figure it out, also VERY fun with friends and mods (i did not crash the ship it was your fault)
I found this game partially by accident when I found it on the Steam. My friend that I know told me that he had played it before, but had struggled to learn how to play the game (he flew out of orbit with his jetpack only, along with scrapping his entire survival rover down, FAH). Looking at the game at the time, I had a feeling this was a game that I would love to the core. So, I waited for a Steam sale to buy the game. When it was discounted and I finally bought the game, I had understood why my friend severely struggled to understand the mechanics of this game. Though, him and I eventually began to understand the game after looking at online tutorials (I did all of the research and taught him, along with some of my other friends who bought the game, the basics). Realizing the potential of the game that was something I had been longing for (ever since I've had a computer), I eventually convinced my other friends to buy the game. It was me believing that they would use their very intelligent minds and patience that I thought they would enjoy the game, and it would be something we would have fun with as we tried out different things. Little did I know, they didn't see my vision. One of the first worlds I created was in creative that started on the Earth-like. I taught them the basics and they eventually figured out how to make ships of their own (Remember creative mode, ill talk about it later). I then decided to try out survival mode starting on an earthlike, and I encouraged my friends to join and try it out. One problem that makes many beginner engineers quit the game is early game survival. I didn't think much of the repetitive mining, although reflecting back on it now, I realize that it was very tedious. This is the part they didn't like much. They liked the creative game mode where you can instantly build a ship or whatever they desired. When playing survival, they felt that the process of getting materials to build a single block was too much. Eventually, we quit that survival world and continued to play creative as I convinced more of my friends to buy the game. Coming back to creative mode, I was always irritated with one of my better friends (Lets call this guy Lil' G), who DESPISED playing survival and only wanted to play creative so he could build whatever MECHANISM he desired. He created an ALMAGAMATION of a ship that was overly blocky and ONLY WORKED ON CREATIVE, along with having an unholy amount of artillery cannons, thrusters, and turrets. My other friends and I threw everything we could create at him, only for it to barely scratch his ship and the only way we were able to destroy it was by hijacking and slamming it into a rock, moon, or planet. I was furious that his ABOMINITION somehow worked on creative mode, so I decided to search for a solution. Mods in this game not only spice the game up and make it more enjoyable by adding on top to the many things you can do, but it also allows you the destroy and ANNIHILATE someone's ship such as G's. The Nuclear Warheads mod was my go to for destroying G's ship. Although I could've made an mechanical disaster of a ship like G's to fight back, I decided to follow a plan that went like this; I would chase his ship down, plant myself onto the ship with the magnetic plates, place a large quantity of thermonuclear warheads in a part of the ship, and then arm it as I flew away, watching as his ship disintegrated into nothing but scrap. It was hilarious hearing G's voice on our group calls when his ship suddenly disappeared when he was just in it. Eventually though, the amount of time my group played the game began slowing down until most of them stopped playing the game. G or my friend who introduced me to the game would occasionally play, but it would be short-lived. They all agreed that the game was good but very complex, but G would say the game was horrible. I would ask him, "Why is the game mid?" and he wouldn't give me a straight answer. I'm pretty sure it was just to ragebait me as he does this with EVERY SINGLE GAME I enjoy with the sole except of ULTRAKILL, of course. After all of my friends had abandoned the game, even when I tried convincing them, I was the only who still remained playing Space Engineers. I had been deeply fascinated by the game, and even if I wasn't able to build a laser satellite or complex factory straight away, I wanted to understand what it truly meant to be a Space Engineer. I made a modded world and began grinding through the early game on the Earth-like on a desert. Even though it was tedious having to mine with the constant drilling my ears, I preserved. I eventually made my first ever mining ship with Splitsie's tutorial (Thanks Splitsie), and once I began mining, I gained an overwhelming amount of resources from just a couple of minutes of mining a certain ore, like iron. From there onwards I was able to fully build my base that was just an outline of light armor blocks, I then continued expanding, eventually making a large cargo container for storage, a garage, a greenhouse, and then finally a server room that consisted of programmable blocks. On top of that, I made a hydrogen ship made for doing acquisition contracts and getting out of orbit along with a ai mining drone that's semi-functional. Overall, it was a long but fun journey, and I hope to do more with it along with eventually joining public servers to see what they are about. On more of a game-wise perspective, the game is really fun and feels rewarding when you build something that works. You also feel like an actual engineer who designs and constructs these ships, bases, etc. The community is also a great part of this, as I love seeing creations that are unique, complex, and most importantly, functional, even when it isn't really necessary at all (or when Clang decides to awaken on the build). I overall love the space theme of the game and how the game itself functions, along with the very intelligent community who surrounds this game and create mind-blowing builds even after 10+ years of the game being up. I 100% recommend this game to those who are willing to have patience and understand the exponential learning curve of this game, along with anyone who wants to feel like an engineer. I'm looking forward to Space Engineers 2 with a new engine, water physics, and so much more!
Až opraví možnost hrát hru na Legionu Go zase gamepadem, tak je o čem se bavit. Jinak je to odpad a doporučuju nestahovat.
is overall very fun i recomend
