A memory Trip in VR cut extremely shot. like less then 1 hour short for main,,, Good thing theres some extra to be had here but I doubt it will cover the cost
It's a little short, but it's worth it, specially if you're trophy hunting.
I give this game my glowing recommendation with one huge caveat. If you are a Space Channel 5 fan, the only complaint here is that the game is rather short, not that the other two were particularly long, but I do wish it had an extra level or two. If you aren't a Space Channel 5 fan, well, I don't know anyone who actually HATES Space Channel 5, you either love it, or it's just kind of a thing, and that is where your mileage may vary. If you can, find a way to emulate the first game (redream is a great option), and if you like that, grab the second game here on steam, it's a good version. If you like those games, then you will enjoy this one. Even though the game is short, I was engaged the entire time. Ulala has been an iconic sega character since 2000, and deserves to have a continued legacy. I also l ove that while they smoothed out her character model, they didn't change her looks one iota to modernize her or anything like that. In fact, all the characters you run into from previous games look exactly as they should, albeit with a higher polygon count, which was necessary as you are literally only feet from them. The controls are fluid and responsive, but they are exactly what you would expect from a Space Channel 5 game, Up Down Up Down Shoot Shoot Shoot is in all Sega gamer's lexicons for a reason. They did add various poses that you have to follow, and a new barrier move. Dodging the tapioca punches was something else. 10/10 would grab Ulala's ass again.
A must-play for any fan of the franchise. Admittedly a bit short as many have already said, but throughout the entire thing I had the biggest, dumbest smile plastered across my face. Probably wait for a sale, though.
This game is VR done right. The models and textures are colorful and very clear, the stages are vibrant and large and the gameplay is fun. Not only is it an amazing adaptation of a cult classic rhythm game, but it involving your whole body to do the iconic sequences from older titles would make any Space Channel 5 fan scream for joy. The level of engagement this game brings from the dances, to the interactions with the characters in a short time sets the bar high for other VR titles. I do hate that the experience is so short-lived compared to previous SC5 titles and with no hopes for an update, but this game does it right and does it very well.
the story characters look like slightly less realistic more plastic barbie doll abominations.
its a little expensive for the amount of play time but it's honestly really fun.
It’s good… but definitely not good enough for the price tag. The 4th chapter of part two is half of the total game time from this game (main story). I highly recommend waiting for a sale. I’ll still give it a thumbs up because you give Jaguar a high five and it’s great.
