About
Space Ark is a fun arcade/puzzle game with a hint of retro arcade flavour; inspired by classic arcade games of the late 80s, such as Rainbow Island, Bubble Bobble and Arkanoid.
With your crack team of animal ‘Arkonauts’, you have escaped your once peaceful solar system, which has been shattered by a wandering black hole, and are now looking for new places to live. With a trail of damaged planets left in the black hole’s wake, the space travelling animals board the Space Ark and fly across the galaxy on a mission to repair the damaged worlds. At each planet your Arkonauts must bounce in the air and bag DNA combos, power-ups and all the fruit they can catch so ultimately inhabitants can return!
A colourful, original arcade action game with the golden age of ‘one more go’ gaming running through its DNA, Space Ark is that classic title, which is easy to play yet difficult to master for both casual and hardcore gamers alike.
The Arkonauts need your help so – let’s Bounce!

https://youtu.be/7MUi4cLaz74 The dual stick controls for this bounce based brick breaker winds up being more trouble than it's worth due to the lack of any need for fine grain control.
okay so a ot of you on here apparently dont remember this was a xbox 360 arcade game and as such its not going to be a masterpiece, its a casual game where you try to hit the orbs as a character n a trampoline and avoid obsticals. I really wish there was a way to get your xbox avatars as the characters somehow but this is a game you can spend a good bit of time on for something casual and arcade cabinet feeling. 14/10 there god dogs brent

Just a silly little unpopular game. With some silly little guys. 10/10
This is hard! Especially when you're trying to get Perfect with Gold Medal.
Tipikus gyerekeknek kitalált játék, így nekem nem jön be. Gyerekek számára viszont tökéletesen..halljátok, barátlistámon lévő gyerekek!!!:D
Tags: Casual - Brickbreak & Pinball Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: No fullscreen. Crashes to desktop. Difficulty spike. Get Luxor Evolved or Shatter instead. Waste of adorable art. Brickbreak with stuffed animals on trampolines that you can steer with tiny jetpacks. Collect gem chains to create food in a "bring life to dead planet/terraform" storyline. Works for me. Nice art direction. Good and responsive Xbox360 controls. Game will not fullscreen unless modded by the end user. Issue has existed for 3+ years with an obvious fix but developper never bothered to. Dev wont fix game's inability to fullscreen. Tried beating the tutorial to experience the notorious difficulty spike. Game crashed to desktop on me after 7 levels. Otherwise it would be a decent to good brickbreak variant game.
So I got this as part of an indie bundle of 8 other games for $1.50, and upon looking at the store page, I became worried. Barely touched on steam for two and a half years and already had mixed reviews, I approached this game today with caution. The opening was cute. I liked the pop-art style intro. It reminded me of something like Little Big Planet. Then I saw those things up close. Those...creepy, soulless eyes...begging to die. Space Ark is basically an Arkanoid game (hooray for puns), where you bounce your Little Big Planet knockoffs around and about hitting objects this game calls "DNA" and helping these creatures restore there planets to its (un)rightful glory. I was very skeptical about how this game would be, especially with how the screenshots were kind of a turnoff. But honestly, this game wasn't too bad. In fact it got a little challenging, because not only are you controlling your yoga ball around the stage, but you also have control in navigating your sock puppets that you call "animals." Granted, it's not as challenging as other arkanoid games that you can find here on steam, such as Ionball, but if you like to have color in your environment and like bouncing up and down cute...soulless...evil...creatures, then you'll enjoy this game. Though at a price tag of $5, I say wait, look for a sale, or look somewhere else. This game is worth no more than your typical dollar app, and shouldn't be priced any higher than that. Other than that, I (personally) can't recommend this game to anyone I know that is into arkanoid but likes this type of theme. p.s. This game cannot be played at full screen, so that's another thing to note about.
