I was interested in the sci-fi setting and puzzle-focused gameplay, but the overall experience felt rough.. The atmosphere and soundtrack are probably the strongest parts. Unfortunately , the gameplay itself didnt manage to hold my attention for very long 3/10

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Had I paid any money for this game, I would be furious. I spent a total of 33 minutes on this game. I would estimate 3 were spent adjusting my settings. In that time I fully completed the game. There are only four puzzles, and none of them offer any meaningful increase in difficulty or complexity. All relevant mechanics are introduced in the first puzzle. You adjust the colour-coded barrier, retrieve the laser redirecting cubes from behind the barrier, then awkwardly position them to hit the vaguely defined laser targets. You will repeat this three more times before pressing the 'end the game' button. The narrative offers the bare minimum required to be declared as such. The little story that is present is given through flat text slapped on the screen upon approaching or interacting with terminals or some store-bought sci-fi tablet asset. On the topic of store-bought assets, I doubt there were more original models or textures than I could count on one hand. If Space Accident had been released as a free, proof-of-concept by a teenager inspired by Portal 2's laser redirection puzzles, I would be unimpressed but sympathetic. However, given the developer's other projects, this is clearly part of a larger pattern and not some amateur first attempt. Whale Rock Games is blatantly engaging in lazy asset flipping and charging a ludicrous $15.25 CDN for the disservice. The fact that a number of reviewers display a playtime of over two hours, some even reaching over five or even ten hours, makes me genuinely suspicious of some sort of botted review scheme. I don't mean to be hurtful but I doubt any average person would struggle to solve this entire game in under an hour or so. Additionally many reviews are written oddly. The refer broadly to basic elements of science fiction or spend portions of their reviews narrowing in on irrelevant plot details. Despite having full profiles, they write like primitive LLMs. To summarize: The game is overwhelmingly expensive for what it offers to the point of feeling like a scam, and given what I've seen that may be the best explanation for why.
An interesting blend of Dead Space and Portal. It lacks a bit of momentum, but if you're looking for something meditative—yet not too nerve-wracking—this game fits the bill.
The game resembles old science fiction movies, where space scares and beckons at the same time. Alone on the ship, there's silence all around, and you're solving puzzles and putting the story back together. Music adds depth. I didn't expect that a game with lasers and switches could be so atmospheric. I highly recommend it to fans of slow, thoughtful stories.
SPACE ACCIDENT

Positives:
+ Good graphics + Acceptable design + Nice sounds and music + Cool puzzles + A small storyline + FOV-adjuster + Achievements
Negatives:
- A bit too dark environment - Some weird behaving physics - Control mechanics are still not polished - Some unstable fps - Very short (over in under an hour)
Conclusion:
This is the third game in the series. If you havent played the first two, do that as well (Euphoria and Dofamine). This is just more of the same, but I think its the best one of the three. All games can be finished in about an hour each, so dont expect them to last forever.
Total Score: 7/10
The space game is simple but engaging, with beautiful graphics and an interesting starry storyline.
Вообще скучно и уныло. Весь геймплей это бесконечный бег туда-сюда и ноль понимания куда идти дальше. Поиграл два часа и полностью потерял интерес.
This game is like a good book in a space‑themed cover. You explore the ship, solve puzzles involving lasers and fields, and collect plot fragments. The music is calm, and the atmosphere is almost meditative. If you like slow, atmospheric games with puzzles, this is the place for you.
