Soviet City is a game made up of quick game plays, where building and control is essential. We take a lot from classic city builders. The player takes the role of mayor of the city. Soviet law and economy have their own laws. Every building influences a terror bar. Be careful, because excessive terror level leads to a rebellion.

Soviet City is quite the spectacle... It's art style is quite beautiful and its soundtrack is hypnotic! Now I dont usually write reviews, but this game deserves its support! I have always adored the 'fake' soviet unions akin to the "Red Alert" series and this game really hits that sweet spot of my very abstract love for the dirty dirty ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Therefore I give the following things as possible feedback/advice to help this game reach its true potential via polishing and refinement: - Slightly bigger maps, or at least an option for such - A "free build" mode thats not so heavy on the objectives but still contain them to help drive the game - A better explanation of the "Terror" abilities and a possible way of regenerating some of the points used (Maybe by completing objetives or something) Especially because meat and coal are vital to city survival in the early game - Please PLEASE make the soundtrack available for purchase if you can, Oh MY GOD THAT SOUNDTRACK SON, SO GOOD!!! There are probably a few things Ive forgotton to mention, Ill edit this if need be! Keep up the good work, cant wait to see the final product!!!
Unfinished, lazy, bad, waste of money, stay away from this steaming pile of... Abandoned
This game is compleatly unplayable. - bug's, if you restart the city you cab't build road from palace, you must restart whole game and the numer of soviets is -5 - interface is a nigmare, it's even the problem to click something because the map is moved. - you don't know what to do in the game, because ther is no introduction any clues or whatever, you loses in 5-10 minutes and you don't know why - this is level of graphic that was good 30 years ago. This is the worst piece of crap that i have ever played. I am surprised that steam even allow this game to be on their platform. I had a hope to play a few hours of good game with totalitary system implemented and i am really dissapointed now. And it was so promising. The music is the only thing that is decent in this game. First time: 0/10 and the true is -100000000000000/10 I woul'd ask for refound but i bought it a few monts ago.
HEAR ME OUT. If this game was still supported, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend it. Abandoned? Sadly, no. But this game has SO MUCH potential! I know that ChickenInTheCornStudio (one guy) is still active on his Facebook. I've spoke to him via Messenger. While only once, I told him that me and many others want him to return to the game, and he said he would. Sadly, that was over 2 years ago. Hopefully, if enough of us reach out/speak up, hopefully he will be convinced to return to this game. Pros: Amazing soundtrack, Illustration/art style is gritty, yet so well done Amazing concept Cons: The most recent update made the game a buggy mess Sadly, Abandoned.
Thought I'd buy the game and help support a Cyka. Turns out, I was the Cyka. -3/Blin Idi Nahui
Abandonware
DON'T BUY IT Not recommended at all, has a very basic interface besides the inaccuracy of the screenshoots which show options that doesn't exist in the actual game, it's full of buggs for example when you lose a game in other to star a new one you have to close the game and then launch it again otherwise you won't be able to put a road to the palace which is necesary to start a city. Sadly when I tried to return it I had spend 3.1 hours "playing" which did so I couldn't refound it.
The game is nothing like the screenshots DO NOT BUY
