About
Soothe is a brief single-player puzzle game characterized by dingey, dystopian architecture and bizarre, abstract imagery. Focus, patience, and attention to detail will serve you well.
You are a lone machine left behind in this strange environment, sporting an extendable grappling claw on your right arm and a melted screen on your left. You will be presented with a series of thematic challenges designed to evoke thoughts of what we value in the lives we all live. The grapple on your right can be used to collect distant objects and interact with the various interfaces you'll need to use to progress through this surreal place. Your only guidance will come from the glass fused into your left hand, and it directs you foremost to do one simple thing - reach the light above.
Unpack the meaning behind the rooms and find a way to get what you want. That is, after all, more important than anything else. Right?

A first person puzzle game similar to Superliminal and The Talos Principle. You dont get a whole lot of help other than a few hints but honestly wasnt super hard to figure out. Theyre the kind of puzzles where if you just give yourself a second, you'll get it and smack yourself in the forehead for not getting it sooner. I got stuck once and I thought maybe it was a glitch, but nope, it was part of the puzzle and I'm just a dingdong . I just wish there were achievements so people can see that I figured it out lol. Super creative little game that you can finish in about 2 hours if you dont have too much trouble solving it. Definitely recommend if you want to give yourself a quick challenge. The only thing I'd say to watch out for is if you have sensitive eyes or get headaches easily. There's like a filter across the whole game that can bug you, as well as the puzzle rooms having flashing lights/moving scenery that can trigger you if youre sensitive. Im not and the number/alphabet room (you'll see) had me blinking crazy because of how overwhelming it is. Took me a bit to get used to it.
