This is one of the best modern Sonic experiences, combining classic nostalgia with fast and exciting new gameplay. The updated version of the original adventure looks fantastic, while the new content with Shadow adds a fresh experience that feels like a true celebration of the series. The level design is the biggest highlight, offering a great mix of speed, platforming, and exploration. Sonic's stages are full of memorable moments, and Shadow's abilities create a different style of gameplay that feels unique and satisfying. The movement is smooth, the controls are responsive, and mastering each stage is incredibly rewarding. The main downside is that the campaign is a bit short, and some players may want more new content. A few sections can also feel overwhelming at high speeds until you get used to the controls. Overall, this is a fantastic Sonic game that respects the past while delivering something fresh. With great level design, excellent gameplay, and a lot of personality, it is an easy recommendation for both longtime fans and newcomers.

Sonic X Shadow Generations is a remaster of Sonic Generations and adds a new campaign for Shadow. Shadow plays a little differently from Sonic but they have the want core game play. The speed feels great and this is a lot better than other modern Sonic titles. It's really short unless you want to 100% everything. Both campaigns were finished in about 7 hours combined. My only warning is that it doesn't feel great on the Steam Deck. There's some frame drops on it that leads to input lag and can feel frustrating at times. I definitely recommend playing it on a PC over the Steam Deck if possible.
Sad that this game is somewhat of a REVAMP of a previous Sonic Anniversary game. Now the current anniversary celebrates SEGA supporting the death of its customers.
Its pretty short. Maybe sonic just isn't for me, but the fights are just long repetitive sequences that really aren't enjoyable. A lot of the levels feel like the game is on autopilot and what you can interact with is minimal.

Amazing game from SEGA. I especially love how smooth the 3D is in Shadow Generations. I also like expanding the collection over time. I would totally recommend this game to any Sonic fan.
索尼克35生日快乐！！！ 夏特篇三小时通关，和未知边境是同一代刺猬引擎，手感一模一样，个人感觉速度感少了些。但夏特还是帅的 不过关卡设计绝了，从头冲到尾，爽的佷，主线只有三小时，但收集要素还蛮多的，够玩上一阵子了 boss战让许多boss回归，都不算难，但还是要动脑筋，特别是梅菲勒斯，“実に残念だ”一出来我直接笑喷了，挺意外官方把这个梗加进来了 世代对比原版改动不大，几乎可以说是原封不动，就加了汉化，改动了些许剧情，以及drop dash这个技能 这么肥美的索尼克二合一游戏只要不到一百块，可以冲 夏特身后的翅膀个人不太喜欢。 个人观点仅供参考
