Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Latest in each market: best BR #81, worst UK #87 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.86/day in the week to Aug 14 → 8.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

10 year old me would say this is the coolest thing ever (it is still now)

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Sim, Jogo base ok, legalzinho.
WAY too short, I would be seriously pissed off if I paid full price for this. You've got like 4 abilities, two 3 minute acts and a boss to use them in and the games done- The Sonic Gen "Remaster" is ♥♥♥♥ also.
Sonic X Shadow Generations
¡Totalmente recomendado!
Shadow generations is such a damn refreshing form of content from the regular sonic generations and its way of movement is so much more reactable and smooth compared to sonic generations where if i boost once i go off the entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ map for existing. Shadow dashes and you can actually like not go flying its amazing😭 10/10 dlc, loved playing sonic generations for childhood purposes so its a 7/10 for me but it has its bad boss fights time to time.
The original Sonic Generations is by far my favourite Sonic game. The gameplay between both Sonics is immaculate, along with well crafted levels that bring back elements of the Adventure era inside of the Boost Formula, so a remaster would surely make me giddy, right? Not exactly... Sonic since Generations hasn't been the best. He had an ok game with Lost World, with the parkour having potential if they continued refining it, only to go back to the Boost Formula with Forces but clearly within the constraints of Lost World's movement and physics, and while Mania was amazing, all three games I mentioned had one thing in common: heavy nostalgia. Nostalgia isn't inherently bad, heck Mario and Kirby use nostalgia all the time, but while Mario shows nods to his franchise's past in his games and Kirby reuses the same tree boss fight in theirs, those are more suplimental nostalgic callbacks to a package that very much stands on its own legs. Meanwhile, Sega uses nostalgia as a crutch to oftentimes prop up an otherwise mediocre product. And this is coming from someone who has loved Sonic all his life... As a company, when reviews for a product you release come in and it's universal praise, it can be hard to build upon that because universally positive criticism is not actually as helpful as you may think. However, if a company is smart enough, they can take a much closer look at their own product and dissect why ciritcs loved what they did, and find flaws and improvements in areas reviewers neglected to mention or just didn't notice. Sega is not a smart company. We know this because when Sega saw the reviews for Sonic Generations, it's extremely obvious that all they heard was "nostalgia!" "nostalgia!" "nostalgia!", because while Sonic Lost Worlds opts to have a completely different gameplay system than anything seen in the franchise so far, its aesthetic is very clearly taken from the original trilogy of Sonic games, right down to how the Batniks look. Then, with Sonic Mania, they describe that 60% of the game will have original levels but the final game seemingly having 60% reused levels, because unless the Act 2s of reused stages count as original stages (which I do not count them as such), I just see 4 original stages and 6 reused ones. Then we get to Forces, which Sega promised was not Generations 2 but was basically Generations 2. We also need to talk about Sonic Colours Ultimate, a remaster of a game so bad that fans are once again having to fix everything about it and almost gave Switch players seizures from a visual bug that happened gradually as you played the game (not to mention the extremely long exclusivity on the Epic Games Store, with no patches to fix any lingering issues when it did finally come over to Steam two years later). While Frontiers was good, the fact it also reused the first three stages from Generations a decade later (as well as the gameplay in said stages being the worst part of that game, with people prefering the open world sections) didn't inspire much confidence in me when, to celebrate the release of the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie, they announced
Sonic X Shadow Generations
Yes, we're actually getting to it now. Really? A remaster of my favourite Sonic game? After the mess that was Sonic Colours Ultimate that, to this day, isn't even fully fixed? Not to mention how piss poor Sonic has controlled since Forces, with Frontiers completely giving up and giving you sliders to change how Sonic controls (which, while a good feature, doesn't give the impression Sega is even confident in how they made Sonic control) outside of the cyberspace levels, where he controls like ass. Yeah, my hopes for this game was NOT high. But... the more they showed off, the more confidence I had, but I still wasn't convinced yet until Limited Run Games showed off the Collectors Edition, which I decided I would buy purely for the statue, art book, and OST CD. That is a mess all on its own but that's something I won't cover in this review... So, now that it's out, what's my thoughts?
It's, by far, the best Sonic game SINCE the original Generations.
Sonic Generations is an extremely well crafted remaster, with some handy new features and collectables to keep you replaying, and it finally does away with the awful configuration tool of the original! And also proper keyboard and controller support, so no more do you need to worry about if you play on keyboard or with a PlayStation controller, because rather than just always showing the Xbox 360 controller like in the original game, it will show the button prompts for the actual input method you're using. Y'know, like an ACTUAL port should! My main critique is that there is no mod support at the time of writing, but from what I heard, the HedgeModManager team is hard at work to ensure that they can impliment mod support that makes all the mods from the original game work on the new remaster. My second critique is how Sonic now has a drop dash move. This is a cool feature at first, until you find out that [olist] [*]It applies to both Classic AND Modern Sonic [*]On Classic Sonic, it is considered an ability rather than just a move he can do whenever you want (but it being a skill you can remove makes it easy to remove if you don't want it) [*]On Modern Sonic, it is a move he ALWAYS has access to, and is NOT considered a skill (meaning if you don't like Modern having a drop dash ability, tough luck, you can't disable it!) [/olist] This inclusion is both welcome and baffling, especially since it should just be an ability that Classic Sonic always has access to instead of a skill that you need to build into your skill panel. I know I gave Sega some shade for not appearing confident in how Sonic controls with Frontiers but it would at least be nice if there was an option in the control settings to turn off Drop Dash for Sonic, with one toggle for Classic and another for Modern, rather than make it a choice with the one it makes the most sense to have and a mandated feature on the one that doesn't make sense at all? I also completely forgot about the rewritten story for this game. It's fine. It's bad in some places, but it also has some improvements over the original, so I'd love a fan mod that takes the best of both and combine them into one perfect package. My final complaint is one that I really shouldn't have expected but hoped to see anyways: There are no 3DS stages. Shame. That's just all the repackaged content, however, let's finally get into
Shadow Generations
Ho ly ♥♥♥♥ Sonic Team CAN make a game that is as good as the original Generations, they could have this WHOLE TIME! And they've just been holding out on us! How is this the same Sonic Team that gave us Sonic Lost World and Sonic Forces? This game is genuinely better than the original Generations, the controls are amazing, the graphics are incredible, the voice acting is Sonic voice acting but the story is even pretty good with how Shadow has to confront a past he thought was long behind him, it really makes me feel bad for this edgehog. Before this game, I thought Shadow was just ok. He was just kinda there, I didn't get the hype, but this game has made me see the appeal in Shadow and so much more. I'm still Team Sonic but this game made me audibly say "Shadow is so cool" because HE IS. Shadow does have some gimmicks via the Doom abilities, and while they are cool, they not all of them are tutorialised to you the best. Especially with the one that lets you swim around in the muck. The biggest complaint is the one you've probably heard by now: where the heck is the Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) stage??? Sonic Team calls back to his own spin-off game through bringing back Black Doom but fail to give him his own dedicate stage from said game, instead we get... Chaos Island? He wasn't even IN Frontiers! To wrap up, FANTASTIC game, go buy.
