Shadow generations is a bit of a disapointment 7/10 sonic generations on the other hand..is just as good as I remember 10/10 overall:9/10 buy it when its on sale

I love Sonic Generations so I love this and with Shadow having his own generations this makes the game 10X better
I got a couple things to say. I'm a keyboard and mouse player, sorry I dont own a controller, but they REALLY should optimize controls for KEYBOARD. Anyway.. this was my first Sonic Generations experience by hand. Love most of the modern sonic stages, hate the platforming, as usual. I want to boost like how you boost in Unleashed stages, but that's not here. Last stage is.. brother, absolute garbage to play. Wisps level is cancer. Final boss is awful, 10+ minute fight where you're flying doing nothing and waiting for a window to attack which takes too long. I UNDERSTAND THEY'RE HOMING ATTACKS, SEGA. S ranked every main stage, cool. Shadow campaign? MARGINALLY BETTER EXPERIENCE. So there are 12 acts.. I S ranked 10. You can piece the last two. I did a couple attempts on Radical act 1, boy, my sanity is not worth losing to this. Act 2 I didn't bother giving attempts I knew I'd end up hating myself so I beat it one and done. In terms of spectacle the final boss delivered but also died anti-climactically? Eh. Overall the stages are so polished and fun. Oh yeah classic stages I didnt care for since Im not a big fan of classic sonic gameplay but the level design itself is good its just I dont care about that gameplay. No comment on the challenges I dont care for those they're really boring I get the key and dip its whatever. Im not good at this type of game despite loving the fast paced action and gameplay. Story? Despite being a sucker for stories I dont expect SEGA to deliver on them so.. yeah sonic campaign was a dumpster fire, and Shadow's was better than the average you expect.
