Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 14 → 6.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Sonic Origins Collection Ratting: 6.8/10 This is Definitely NOT a bad collection. In the current day, this is probably the best way you can play these 4 games, in HD resolution and with the general history on the Hedgehog in the Gallery. I’ve never rage once, and I didn’t accouter any bugs aside form those that were built into the games. Very good- if not GREAT experiences… [: My main issue… is what is not here though… The worst this for a classic collection to do, is to not include the ORIGINAL versions of the games. This is an collection of the Remakes for each game. 2 of them strait up being the Mobile ports and CD remake SLAPPED together into this collection into one. The Sonic 3 remake being exclusive to this collection, mind you. “Ok, well if I already had the Original Remakes, why should I buy this?” True… though your lucky if you’ve even had those since any of the Sonic games from 1 to 3 are now taken DOWN from all platforms, forcing this as the ONLY way to buy this game now… Legally at least. And while YES, the salvage to Sonic History is nice, there is a lot missing here… Even stuff that was in Sonic Jam. (Kinda wish this was just an Updated modern version to that Collection ngl…) And while YES the music from the other sonic games around that time is nice, just kind of remind you that there really are no other way to play Knuckle’s Chaotic less you pirate it… (Oh- I’m sorry, did I say that? I meant sell your liver to not just BUY the game, but also both livers to also buy the original console, along with the add on for the console… We really do live in the bad future huh?...) Honestly- The only reason this is getting as good of a review as I’m giving, is because the games themselves are well… The games in the collection are just… GOOD… Sure they aren’t the originals, but they are remakes to these classics that improve most of the flats to the originals. If not just make them better games in the case of CD. So I’d like to make the rest of this review to my thoughts on these games. [: ------------------------------------------------------------------ The Game’s Ranking: Sonic 1 - 9/10 VERY GOOD, honestly my second favorite classic game. I do like how very difficult the original was. But I do appreciate the included Spin/Drop Dash, along with the infinite lives that go along with every game in this collection. Makes this game slightly less stressful. Also, don’t hate the special stages in this one, they are pretty fine. Sonic 2 – 8/10 Probably the worst Classic game, which should tell you a lot since I still LOVE this game. This collection probably being the best version of this game since Tails can actually FLY, making some parts with sonic reachable in this version. Yet again, my biggest issue with this game are the last few levels… Metropolis Zone is probably the worst Zone, Sky Chase is a snooze, Wing Fortress is good but with what you’ve went though is an actual Horror Game, and Death Egg has the 2 best bosses but get ruined by the fact that the devs forgot to place down the DAMN RINGS. And also this game has the Hardest Special Stages “The Haft Pipes” which I honestly don’t have any issues with aside from baby sitting Tails… Though I will say with the Coins it dose make these stages a lot more easier with the fact I could just retry them since I had like… 200 coins by that point… Sonic 3, and Knuckles – 9.5/10 Truth be told: this was my first time playing Sonic 3. Have always intended to play that game eventually, and since I had this collection well… Yeah- Not a bad game at all. (: There were like… 3 stages I didn’t like, but even then those stages weren’t awful. I guess my only issue (which is a big one) was the fact that they removed all the music that Michael Jackson helped make. Yeah, I get why, but the removal of Ice Cap’s theme for a Worster song is giving me a “Hard Time” if ya know what I mean?... Blue Spheres are AWESOME though, can’t complain about da. [: Sonic 3, (Knuckle’s Campaign) – Knuckles/10 Yeah, not much to say. Same feelings when I played base Sonic 3: “It’s just good.” The only other thing to note are the Knuckles Excusive paths. Since even though I knew Knuckle’s levels were different from bas game, they were still shocking somehow. I constantly said “WOW… this wasn’t here before… very neat. (:” same kind of feeling I get from B3313. Also, Mecha Sonic (MK. II) is a CRIMINALLY underrated Sonic Boss, really do love how he is Knuckle’s Final Boss. Awesome stuff. Sonic CD – 11/10 (BEST GAME) Truth be told, I tried to Gray Market this game. But the website couldn’t let me buy it so… yeah, I gave up and bought this so… here we are… (Trust Me, I’ll try to Gray Market this game again, I lost it from my old account AND I WANT IT BACK!!!) This game is my FAVORITE out of all the Classics. NO CONTEST. - The Music: PEAK - The Intro/Outro Animatics: PEAK - The Level Design: The most complex the Classic Games have gotten. All tied up together by the Time Travel Mechanic. Even then, if you are just speeding by, they all still feel like rides to an amusement park, reminding that you are infact a Small Rat of an Speed Demon. :3 - The Special Stages: PEAK - Amy Rose: PEAK (I love her… ;-;) - Metal Sonic: IS SO PEAK, THAT HE IS MY FAVORITE SONIC CHARICTER!!! I would love to give a more independent review on this game alone, probably once I Gray Market the original port. But let me just tell you. This along side SA1 is the very REASON I am a Sonic Fan. And this game holds a special place in my heart. DO NOT TELL ME THIS GAMES SHORT COMINGS, THIS GAME IS SO GOOD THAT THE PROS OUTWAY THE CONS. This game is so peak… ;-;

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The controls are awful, even Mania had decent controls. Especially Game Gear ones. It can't be that hard to put decent controls in 2026
Default control scheme is rather abysmal, but it doesn't become clear how important rebinding your keyboard is until you're in the middle of the level and suddenly a double jump action requires you to press a button that's not your jump button. The Get Blue Spheres minigame cannot be accessed under default controls. The GG titles were a nice addition, but the sound emulation is poor. It sounds better on 40 year old hardware than on whatever emulation is driving the GG titles. The most disappointing part was the S3&K de-master. Physics are truly janked which makes pulling off certain cool moments impossible- like certain badnik combos that just don't work. Poor physics even casues certain parts of the map to be blocked off because Sonic's motion isn't right and his hitbox is too different than originally, or or path swappers just not there. Origins seems to have introduced more bugs than were seen in S3 alone originally on Genesis. The music restarts entirely after sound effects like the 1-up music, are played, which I can't imagine being correct at all, as well as the music continuing after closing out of the game. The end credits music sequence ends a full thirty second before the credits actually end, leaving you in silence while the credits continue to play out. The extras are okay, and it's cool getting a lot of the original 90s era concept art and images, and unlocking them is a little exciting. S1 and S2 are decent ports of the mobile versions and CD is just a re-release of the 2011 port. If you already have your own copies of the main sonic games, there's no reason to buy them again in this collection.
"DouBLe SPeEd mOdE: BuLleTs fLy faSTeR" Had so much fun outside this one specific mission, gotta love an autoscroller where the best goal is no hit while some enemy projectiles have a hit box bigger than Sonic's love of chilli dogs

buenisimo, incluso sin dlc este juego es demasiado bueno por todo lo que trae modos de juego y misiones y de mas cosas
Playing with all of the Sonic Origins Plus content, I would recommend researching this game before purchasing, as your experience will drastically vary depending on what you want from this game. As a way of accessing the original Genesis games, this provides a strong enough experience to a casual player who maybe hasn't experienced all of these games. Additions like the new modes, playable characters and gorgeously-animated 2D cutscenes offer a fresh enough shake up to these games to warrant another rerelease, but hardcore fans looking for the definitive experience will find their time better spent elsewhere. With how passionate and talented the Sonic fandom is, this collections fails to provide the definitive, most customisable experiences with these games, as noticeable issues like occasional glitches, the jarringly worse music substitutions in Sonic 3 & Knuckles and abysmal side content that Origins plus locks behind a hefty pay-wall makes this collection a decent entry for new fans and returning players just looking for an accessible, modern way to play these classics, but the content available for the steep asking price makes this far from the definitive way to play these games. I had a good time with this collection and would overall recommend it. But if you've experienced these games before, do your research before making a decision on putting your money down.
