Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

It's like SEGA put their heart and soul into making the most bum connected unplayble game in the world

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

a pain to get working on windows 10/11 but still better than the new one steps I had to take to get it working (hope it helps someone): 1.) delete installscript.vdf in the game's directory otherwise steam would say the game is already running when launching and proceed to close 2.) to configure settings I had to run Launcher.exe from game's directory as admin 3.) to stop the game from crashing randomly I had to download dxvk from github and extract d3d9.dll from the x32 folder into the game's directory (which I have to temporarily move every time I want to configure settings because for some reason Launcher.exe doesn't launch when d3d9.dll is present) 4.) make sure v-sync is enabled otherwise the game will run at 57-58 fps with inconsistent frame times resulting in a stuttery feel. however, if your monitor is running at more than 60hz the game will run faster than intended causing issues. a simple fix is to limit your fps to 60 in your graphics card's control panel 5.) (optional) I also recommend changing game's volume in windows, otherwise the game will be very loud before hitting start on the title screen and for a split second when joining an online lobby but the game itself was worth the trouble
They hit gold once and then never tried to replicate it again. Will always remember you though for your amazing roster like B.D Joe and...Yogscast...and...Danica Patrick- ok I see the issue now.

This is the definitive way to play the all star racing games. i'd say it holds up graphically to Crossworlds, but this game is so unique because it truly represents Sega's history even doing a tribute to obscure franchises like Burning Rangers. I would say that this game inspired Crossworlds to help the sonic racing series back on its feet again (i mean it includes non Sega characters, which is a things crossworlds is doing). This game also revived memories for me as when i was 6 i never realised there was a console version. Thanks Sega.
I strangely don't enjoy it as much as the first one? Perhaps I should put a little more playtime into it, but I don't feel as pulled to continue this one. Oddly, the complaint people give about Mario Kart Wii's visual style compared to Double Dash is how I feel about this game compared to Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing. So soft and high in bloom that it looks blurry.
The best kart racer of all time, period. Actually fast driving, great handling and satisfying drifting, gorgeous and ridiculously creative tracks from various Sega worlds. fun roster of characters, and catchy music. You'd say all other kart racers have this, but this is a huge and resounding NO, no they don't - this game is miles ahead in all aspects. The fact that I'm not bored after playing it for 3 years straight, tells you something. And the fact that there are still players online regularly, and the game got updated last in 2013, also tells you something... Do yourself a favor and play it, with friends on the couch, or online, it's a freaking blast. Mario Kart is like gah gah goo goo kindergarten game compared to this game... and so is the brand new Sonic Racing Crossworlds, sadly... Still unsurpassed, still so fun.
